I need to report someone, their comment on my fic is clearly AI, meaning they fed my hard work into the machine made for plagiarising... just so that it could write them a comment.
They have an AI pfp, no works and no bookmarks. Can I do anything besides blocking them? We shouldn't have people on this website feeding artistic works to the thing that wants to kill people...
I'm pondering if I should add finger escapes, but I don't think it'll be seamless considering that there's no seam allowance in those places!!! The lining fabric will be the same as the pawpads. Do you think it's possible? Will a seam be possible?
Obviously gonna have to handsew that space, and all the videos I found on it on youtube didn't cover the problem that there might be no seam allowance ;-; I'm not planning to shave the fur very short though (the backing becomes visible very easily, so I'm not "allowed" to anyway) so maybe that would cover it up?
What do y'all think, do I give it a try? Any tips? Not planning on leaving any raw seams ofc, but other than that I think I might need advice

Y'all that get higher temperatures in the USA gotta understand, normal room temperature where I'm at is like 21°C (70°F) at most. We are cold blooded bc most days in the year are cold.

I have this cotton fabric with lovely patterns and I want to use it for my fursuit pawpads... but, well, it's cotton. So that's a bit awkward. I gotta ask, does anyone think I can make this work or do I go for a different fabric completely? I don't have minky and I'm too broke to afford ANYTHING right now 🫠 would have to take a train to the city, and that's already not too good for my wallet.
sooo....... y'all think this could work? Maybe I'd put as much stuffing as possible in the paws so that there'd be no space for folds to get created... Though we all know cotton isn't very stretchy.
On the same train of thought, should I line the paws with cotton or is it gonna KILL me. I hear that it traps heat but also absorbs moisture well so frankly I'm conflicted!!!!
Was completely fine yesterday, even despite 2h of sleep....
A little backstory,
[At 4PM I went to the arcade for some DDR. I'm kind of an intermediate? The level where people at the arcade will look at you like you're crazy. 5 songs in, I started to feel some lower back pain. That's... not unusual. It's happened before, on low sleep. So I pushed thru 2 more songs because I didn't want my arcade tokens to go to waste.
I slept on the train home and my back ached in some positions, once again it's pretty common for me with low sleep so I just kinda adjusted. Eventually got home. The walk there was anguish.
I expected the pain to subside as long as I'd sit or lie down, but it didn't. When it still hurt at midnight, I became doubtful that rest and sleep would fix it.]
Woke up today and yup, it still hurts. Not just that— it hurts the SAME.
It's on my lower back, and the only way I can describe it is that it feels as if the goo that's usually between those spine bones to keep them moving just kinda disappeared and left behind a drop or two. Most movement feels grating.
There are three positions where the pain almost ceases: laying really straight on my side or standing tilted forward like the USA president. laying on my back and curling my legs up towards my stomach also works as long as I lean them against something.
The shoes I wore yesterday had a small heel, but usually that'd just result in some soreness on my feet. Not severe pain.
It feels like... idk, period pain? like the lower half of my body wants to burst. Like there's a lot of stress placed on it, except laying down doesn't even help.
Every footstep is painful. Every movement is painful. Getting up takes time and effort. Can't sit or stand straight without it hurting. It feels like I need to sit like a shrimp or else I'm gone.
Obviously probably gonna go for a doctor visit. But I can't right now. Anyone have ideas what could ease the pain a little? Idk what's happening and I just really want not to suffer for wanting to move.

I'm trying the hairdryer + dogbrush combo and it's... not doing wonders. The settings on the hairdryer are either cold or hot, there's no medium setting.
I was told to use cold air on medium strength... but it's not doing it. (the fur on top is brushed out the most cuz of that). Also, kinda hard to brush it when there's a hairdryer in one hand. How do I do this? Would really help to have 3 hands right now...
in other news, I AM glad the dogbrush came cuz wow. The difference is VERY visible, it looks much better. Just having trouble with those wrinkles now.
Also, do I need to wear a mask for the fur that's shedding? I reckon I'm fine when its just brushing but wanna be sure cuz I did see some dust flying

This is taking FOREVER. My lining process is very out of order right now because I don't have white foam to make "follow-me" eyes. I also don't have acrylic paint as far as I know.
All day taping this thing... my god.... a normal suit wouldn't have this much struggle, but the tape is small and the suit is stylized in a way that I want the backs of those flaps furred too.
Still no idea about the colors! I have a brown fur carpet I thrifted, and a grey one.
Those fabrics don't look good together, but I'll think of something... for now, it's a mess.
Also, the jaw isn't glued on yet, but I don't wanna struggle with the eyes so I can't glue it on yet— meaning I still have that tidbit of inside lining to sew, glue the foam, figure out the zipper, magically find white foam for eyes that I can't find anywhere... wow.

I wanted to look into this broken laptop (don't know what's broken) to see if I could remove any parts and find a different use for them. Or maybe to just tinker with them, but I'm not experienced at all.
Is RAM even anywhere on here? It's an Asus model E502N and I've found little to no answers on the internet about this laptop. I wanted to know where's the CPU and stuff like that... but I genuinely can't identify any of the main components. It seems curiosity has led me nowhere.
Additionally, I tried searching up some of the writing on there like VAM but VRM comes up instead and I don't know what to do with that.
The only thing I can correctly identify are the USB ports and the fan. AKA the most obvious components.
If anyone wants to educate me, I'd be thankful.

I'm making a suit using... a random fur carpet from the thriftstore. Assuming it's faux fur but I'm no expert in this field...
It is a little thick; what kind of clippers should I use? Is there a way to make it bunch up less?
Can't find a full photo of the fur and I'm not home; but I used it for some ears. I've heard brushing faux fur while using a hairdryer to warm it up can make it softer, so I'll try that, but what clipper would be good?

I genuinely can't help it, every time I write something actually postable (I don't post most of my fics) it just feels like glass beach lyrics suit it best. Sometimes I look at casio dad lyrics too.
...I definitely need to change the glass beach title at some point cuz that is kind of long. But the rest is there to stay.
In other news, I've realized that I'm not really sad that glass beach has ended. Perhaps the monologue at the start of coelacanth plays a part in this, but the truth is... I'm just happy they made something in the first place. They could have stopped at TFGBA. They could have never made an album, or even a song together. But they did.
I think when time comes to pass (With TFGBA being at least 6 years ago) we forget about the effort it must've taken to create. I think back to the happiness I felt discovering cold weather back then. I think back to feeling enchanted with a music style unlike anything else.
It's still incredible to me, because I've looked for that style in other bands and artists for years and I always come back empty-handed. They've established such a particular amosphere. With as "little" as two albums. Isn't it baffling?
