AI Taking over the fair

At a state fair is where I realized nobody really cares if people use ai or not. Like 95% of people. And I was pointing it out to people and they were just like meh. So I stopped trying to tell people about it.

- I don’t mean to be rude but no shit. The people who usually care are just chronically online or on websites like this one. People you meet in your day-to-day really don’t give a shit.

-- the only people who care anymore are artists. it makes me sad everyone stopped sticking up for them

--- I am an artist and I don't care

---- Then you’re not.

----- I'm sure that I can draw better than you

------ Probably. I don’t draw.

------- Stfu then

-- They should care though

--- Why should we care about people using AI to make stupid fair posters to advertise overpriced consumer crap.

---- Theoretically, because it’s all contributing to the entire mess as a whole. The energy consumed to make the posters, the data centers being built to keep AI going and the way it impacts the environment, the money to fund all this, the impending doom, etc.

Lmao imagine being the guy at a state fair annoying the shit out of everyone by pointing out all the ai while everyone else is trying to have a good time. Literally what is anyone supposed to do about it then and there? People are trying to shut their brain off and have some fun. Maybe you should learn to do the same. Turn off the savior complex for a night and try to just enjoy yourself. This shit sounds absolutely insufferable dude.

-- That’s all people ever do, shut their brain off trying to have fun. I’m not saying go around a fair and tell everyone (well, I’m not saying NOT to lol but I wouldn’t), but this is some gun control shit to me. “Shut up about it because I’m trying to live in my fantasy that nothings wrong, and if something happens that I can’t ignore then I’ll just say it’s not the right time to bring it up.”

--- Do you genuinely think that harassing strangers trying to enjoy a nice evening with their families is going to do anything to help your cause?

---- Nope. I’m just making a larger comment that many of these “AI isn’t going anywhere so just get used to it and stop annoying me” people have basically already made up their minds to put their heads in the sand no matter what time or occasion, the same way vehemently anti-gun reform people have done over the years. Just my individual observation here.

----- Ok well I would feel equally annoyed by someone who’s pro ai or anti gun or pro gun or whatever other thing they want to shove in my face. You try to do it while I’m spending what little time I get with my family, I’m gonna tell you to fuck off 🤷‍♀️

All of these are objectively better than the lame ass 480p pictures of a hamburger and fries they had before. Unless the owners pay a designer, the average AI pic is better than whatever they come up with.

- Do you not appreciate the crude charm of a low resolution picture of actual food over a thoughtless, clinical AI image that isn't even close to representing the food they sell and also looks horrifc when you look close enough. The AI designs always look like AI. Never like someone actually designed them

-- Are you really going to state fairs to critique their sinage?

--- If it's AI then yes

---- Why do you care what a Fair vendor does to save some of the little money they make? The fair does not provide or pay for those signs.

If some random dude walked up to me at a fair, to tell me the sign at the food truck was made with AI, i would look at him like a lunatic wearing a tin foil hat. Nobody in the real world cares what made the sign lmfao.

- But its not a conspiracy, the AI bullshit is right in your face. And while it may be a very complicated subject, child labor supporting our modern lifestyles is distrurbing. Maybe if it was your kids you might be bothered?

-- So you want random people walking up to you and telling you about the child labor that goes into your clothes and every other random thing that could be "bad"? That's wild. I know Reddit is anti-social, but come on. Surely you dont believe thats a normal interaction. And if for some reason you do, please stay away from my kids and I at the fair.

--- Ofcourse im not advocating random people running around getting into others faces and going on unwarranted rants. But I think it’s conversations that people should be having. If that occasionally includes a stranger that you’ve already been conversing with I dont think its a terrible thing.

graphics at the fair have been crap since the dawn of the printing press - who cares.

- Nah, they used to be crap in a cool and interesting way.

-- Luddite nostalgia is a helluva drug.

--- Anti's are the "luddites", yet it's the pros who need a machine to help them write a "heartfelt" message to their mom, create a basic flyer, or have one read a book to their son. But, I guess I'd rather be a luddite than lose what makes me human

---- Strawmanning is a helluva drug. "If you support AI, you don't love your mother!" lol

----- More like you don't love your loved ones if you have to rely on an AI tool to do the filling in for your emotional intelligence, empathy, and compassion vs. using those skills that should be inately built into you as a human who has basic love and care for others

The only remains left of the Dzungar people: Hainuke Temple ruins in Xinjiang. During the mid-18th century, the Qing dynasty carried out the Dzungar Genocìde, which wiped out roughly 70% to 80% of their population (~480,000 people) through warfare and deliberate starvation

Countries with diplomatic missions (offices that function like embassies) in Taiwan

Approximately 50 countries, which do not have diplomatic relations with the Republic of China, have established representative offices and other offices in Taiwan, which have a wide array of titles. These institutions have the same functions as embassies or consulates, that is, they provide diplomatic services such as visa processing and passport renewal. The personnel stationed there are usually diplomats or government-authorized personnel.

Canadian law enforcement says Synagogue shooters were hired by a foreign entity, anime_titties debates who

The thread

I doubt that it even needs to be said but the two most obvious suspects are the US and Israel, probably worked together on this one too

- Classic fucking Reddit. FTA:

-- You understand with the current American administration anything coming from FBI on Iran a country they invaded is hard for people to take face value

--- And? What, are we supposed to pretend that this is an elaborate false-flag operation when we already caught a guy working for Iran who was involved with the consulate shooting and who hired these local criminals?

---- You are saying that the usa put up Hitler and Japan to starting world war 2?

----- Pearl Harbor was a US action

What the fuck is wrong with you? That’s some conspiracy level bullshit. There is no evidence to suggest Israel is pulling that crap

- Israel has been pulling false flag attacks since its inception as a state

-- You mean In your heads? Just because yall claim every act of violence against Jews is “Israel” die to your seething hatred and xenophobia, doesn’t make it even close to ever being true.

--- Maghen Avraham in beirut was bombed in 1982 by Israel.

---- Do you need an explanation what false flag is, bud?

So Israel never hired people to bomb British-owned buildings like libraries educational center so they can create chaos? Lavon affair doesn't exist I guess

- Lehi and Irgun waged an insurgency against the British occupation. That wasn't a false flag, that was just them fighting for their freedom from the occupation. I thought you supported indigenous groups resisting European occupiers?

-- Lehi and Irgun were the European occupiers/colonizers who called themselves terrorists lol insane statement

--- They were literally formed as a group following the massacre of the thousands year old community in Hebron. Their objective was defending Jews from repeats of such violence.

It could also be a false flag, Israel has a history of it.

- Everything is a false flag when it comes to Israel and Jews apparently…the amount Reddit infantilizes Arabs/Muslims is amazing…

-- Did I say definitively it was? I said it's possible, which it is.

--- “I’m just asking questions!”

---- Lol you don't have definitive proof that it's not either but "something something Arabs & Muslims"

----- YOU presented the case that it was a false flag…meaning you are the one who should show evidence of your claim.

------ I said it's POSSIBLE that it is a false flag....nothing should be ruled out in the investigation.
