ITV presentation this weekend has been abysmal

The green screen ads on the welsh game broadcast was diabolical! So jarring against the kit and so obvious. Took away from the presentation

The commentry had been dry and biting with large unfilled gaps. Terrible presentation

What do you find more satisfying : a sold dummy and the player scores or a last ditch ankle tap that saves a try?

I'm was a winger, and a sold dummy is magic BUT ... When your opposite was a bit quicker and you got that ankle tap at full stretch.... That was art! 🧑‍🍳 💋

Never used Psychedelics before and just bought my first DMT cart. What to expect?

Hi all, just lookingfor some advice. I've never done any type of psychs before, just weed. I have just bought a 800mg in 1mL cart, and I very much doubt I'll be able to take breakthrough type hits first off, so what should I expect if I dont? What can I expect from sub-breakthrough doses? Any advise will be very appreciated!

Why do you think not many rugby fly half's or fullback have transitioned to kicker in NFL?

Many of the best kickers in the works regularly hit 50m kicks. Wouldn't that be a huge asset in NFL, where 45 yards is seen as a tough kick?

In Austin Powers, there was 30.years between Dr evil going to space and Austin being thawed. If the same timescale was applied then 1996 was the year he was frozen so what do you think the biggest culture shock would be for him?

History is written by the winners, not the good guys, so what if the christian version of Satan and Hell is the opposite of what it states?

What if the bad guys won, and they have been running a smear campaign for all these millenia?

If you took the Bible and removed all the labels of "good" and "evil," then judged the characters purely by what they do, what would you conclude?

God:

  • Drowns almost all life on Earth in a flood.
  • Destroys entire cities.
  • Orders wars and conquests.
  • Demands worship and obedience.
  • Threatens eternal punishment for those who reject Him (depending on denomination and interpretation).
  • Establishes laws that include severe punishments for various offenses.

Satan:

  • Tempts people.
  • Encourages disobedience.
  • Questions God's commands.
  • Offers knowledge to Eve (depending on interpretation).
  • Tempts Jesus.

What's interesting is that many of the things we'd associate with an authoritarian ruler, such as absolute obedience, exclusive loyalty, punishment for dissent, and demands for worship, are attributed to God, not Satan. The standard Christian response is that God, as creator, has the right to judge humanity and that Satan's actions lead people away from the ultimate source of goodness. Fair enough. But that argument starts from the assumption that God is good by definition.

What if we didn't start there? If a modern political leader demanded worship, punished non-believers, destroyed cities, and insisted that all morality comes from them, we'd probably call that tyrannical.

Yet when God does similar things in scripture, believers often view them as righteous because God is assumed to be morally perfect.

Any idea what this rash might be on my lower leg? It doesn't itch or hurt, is completely flat (not raised) and only been there a day or so

I'm rereading odd Thomas and I'm struck again by some if the welsh names and references. For instance, the Aunts name, Cymru and Srkemys name, bronwen llewellyn. What's Dean's inspiration for these Welsh references?
