I know most ppl prefer the DSi XL, but I actually prefer the regular DSi.
I love the small pocketable size I can bring everywhere and how DS games look at their native resolution on the smaller screen.
Also, as a Pokémon fan NDS era was the peak. Gen 4 and Gen 5 just feel like the perfect balance between classic Pokémon and modern features.
They’re also still relatively cheap here in Japan. I can usually find near mint ones for around $30
Just added the latest ETA IVtet release(top right) an incredible record, and honestly none of these albums disappoint.
I esp love the International Anthem releases. Some of the best-sounding modern jazz records I own: warm upright bass, huge room ambience, and incredibly natural dynamics. The kind of recording that makes sense on vinyl.
Just picked this up yesterday and listening for the first time. This is prob overshadowed by his first two albums, but I think this is an underrated underground classic!
Hi all,
I’ve been riding this Pinarello for about 15 years and I’m now considering giving it a proper makeover.
Before doing that, I’d really like to understand what this frame actually is, since I’ve never been fully confident about its identity.
I bought the frame on eBay listed as NOS. Based on assumption that its from 80s, I built it up with a Campy Super Record groupset and have been riding it mostly for touring, and over time the decals have worn and started to peel.
I’ve never been able to pin it down to a specific model or even confirm if it’s fully legit.
Frame details
- No model name anywhere on the frame
- The yellow “PINARELLO” decals don’t match any known font/design with archive models when I google search
- No head tube badge or decal
- No Pinarello engraving on the seatstay caps
- “PINARELLO” stamp under the bottom bracket
- Rear dropout shows partial “…ELLO” stamping, possibly “PINARELLO”
Does this look like a genuine Pinarello to you, and if so, any idea what era or model it might be? Also, if I were to replace the decals, what would be the most appropriate era or style to go with (ideally something available today)?
I’m generally not a country fan, but I love country albums made by non-country artists—especially ones that surprised (and sometimes confused) fans and critics.
Some favorites from my collection:
Any other examples where an artist with no real country background unexpectedly made a country album?
Not really looking for standard "country-rock" or "alt-country" artists(Uncle Tupelo, Lambchop, Gram Persons, Dead etc).
I’m especially interested in albums that feel like a weird detour in their discography.
