I started watching The Crown the other day and I love it

I'm completely hooked. I'm a film guy and rarely stick to a series but The Crown is fantastic. Being an Englishman it is a fascinating insight into the history of something I've only even taken a moderate interest in. I've paused to Google people/family names etc many, many times.

I'm only s2e7 but my heart has broken for Margaret a few times already.

I know how the series pans out age/actors wise. I was thinking it would be brilliant to have The Crown for the three or four generations of royals preceding the royals depicted in the show we have.

Bloody good stuff!

Who else has had a decent breeze all day? It has been 'lovely'

I saw Bournemouth Airport recorded 35°c today. I'm a couple of miles down the road in Christchurch and my phone pinged 34°c this afternoon. I've been under the parasol all day and have only showered myself down with the hose six times because of the constant breeze all day. It has been great compared to yesterdays stifling heat with zero wind.

Yesterday I tried keeping curtains and blinds closed. That worked for a bit but the whole house caught on and the heat spread. The only cool spot to be found was right by the front door.

Today I covered windows from the outside at 5am with these cool wall hangings I have from when I was a hippy. I kept the windows open and the upstairs blinds closed (windows open) and the breeze has been rolling through the house all day.

I have a carport attached to my kitchen and it holds heat like a fucking bastard. Great for a few plants, though. That is the only door that has been left closed.

It has definitely made a difference! It is 20:25 and 32°c and my house is not like an oven 🤗🙌

Its now a CONVECTION OVEN 👹🔥

Forecast says storms 11pm and temps down to 21°c by sunrise. I can't wait.

This is nice

Don't get me wrong, I love the 30+ heat. I'm walking to Aldi in 20°c with a light breeze and it is perfect. I'm having a great fucking day
