Repeat-o-meter question

At work I tried to use our Rahn Repeat-o-meter to calibrate a surface plate. It's a Grade A plate, so definitely has deviations, yet the repeat-o-meter is showing nothing. Granted, the last time it was touched(besides when I calibrated the dial indicator) was probably 6 months ago. And when our dimensional guy(who isn't here, hence why I'm on it) last used it, it ran perfectly fine.

Inspecting it, I noticed the front footpad barely isn't touching the surface. Enough of a gap I can see light through. Can't find anything online about actual setup of the repeat-o-meter itself, so how do I adjust that front foot down? The bolt and nut that the dial indicator sits on are well over hand tight, so I can't imagine that came loose but I'm willing to try anything.

Prog Fantasy vs LitRPG?

So, recently decided to give LitRPG an actual shot. Saw 1% Lifesteal talked about on the litrpg subreddit, so I went with that and did enjoy it. Biggest thing for me was it made Freddy's "stat"/skill updates feel more natural instead of the whole "congratulations, you have leveled up. You get +1 strength, +1 agility..." system message thing getting repeated ad nauseum. That always was super jarring to me, especially since I'm an audiobook listener due to driving so much for work. Realized the Arcane Ascension/Songs of Chaos series are kind of similar, so maybe I'm not actually new to the genre and gave another series i saw mentioned on the subreddit a shot.

Currently on Primal Hunter book 2, and I guess I've just gotten used to it? It doesnt bother me as much as before, only certain parts where its really annoying but I power through. No idea if ill be sticking with the series though.

Now I'm getting this subreddit recommended to me, and I'm curious: whats the difference between LitRPG and ProgFantasy?

Would LitRPG be Primal Hunter where the "video game" aspect is stupidly on the nose(system notifications, stat screens, items having examine info, etc) whereas Prog Fantasy is more like Arcane Ascension/Songs of Chaos where it has a "tier system" to power that the characters rank up and skills/abilities but no real stat screens or anything?

I just want to navigate the fantasy landscape where the character "levels up" over time without that annoying "ding, class has advanced a level" stuff over and over(not yucking anyone's yum, its just not my thing)

Opera GX compromised?

Before the comments of "Chinese Spyware browser already compromised blah blah blah" come through, I know all that about Opera GX. The Opera GX exe in the folder shows it was last updated on May 26, I haven't downloaded anything or installed any new extensions since the 20th. Just seems super weird to me the exe for the browser itself is showing up as a Trojan all of a sudden, and directing to a known virus repository(or however it's called). Can viruses do that?
