Espresso martini tiramisu

I had my long distance best friend over for dinner the other night and we used to always start our night off with an espresso martini in college. It was a work night for both of us so I made it into a little night cap dessert instead. It does have basically every ingredient tho lol

The chili that got me through college

I used to make this at least twice a week and this was my “level 1” version. I used to be such a recipe follower that it took me a long time to branch out. This chili was kind of the first thing I felt comfortable building on.
Now it’s like impossible to follow a recipe for me LOL

INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp neutral oil (vegetable, canola, whatever’s cheapest)
1 bell pepper, diced: any color, we used yellow
250 g (about ½ lb) ground beef
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt, plus more at the end
Optional: 1 tsp ground cumin
1 can (398 ml / 14 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 can (398 ml / 14 oz) kidney beans

Boozy caramelized peach tiramisu

This is one of my fave summer bbq desserts. We are nearing the end of those unfortunately but I got a notification these went a little crazy on our Instagram so I made it again this weekend!
I used maple syrup, canned peaches, and brandy for the base of the boozy layer. There is also a sneaky bit of high protein yogurt with the mascarpone that goes REALLY well with the peaches.

Mini pumpkin Bundt cakes with caramel glaze (is it too early for pumpkin lol)

I feel like from food blogging I’ve gotten so all over the place with when to post what (I already feel behind on Christmas content on Pinterest 🥲). But I personally start craving pumpkin everything so early. I discovered how easy pumpkin powder was last year so I’ve started using it all year round to make new desserts. It was finicky at the start but once you figure out ratios I can’t recommend it enough.

Pistachio butter cookie bars (homemade!)

Yall my fiance is obsessed. He has asked me to make these literally every week for his lunches, which has given me a lot of opportunities to make this recipe better!

I messed up a lot when starting with this one since I’m using a French pistachio butter but by now the last 3 times I’ve made them they have been perfectly moist and fudgey!

Lemon blueberry cheesecake pots (homemadeee)

Yall im not sure why but these went craaaaazy on German facebook groups. Even more interesting the picture with the messy compote vs the layered one I spent ages on got way more interest. I don’t understand But here is my little reminder always make a little extra of your no bake cheesecakes to pop into pots.
I just sometimes don’t like the crust, so sue me.

If you wanna try I’ll put the recipe in the comments or just search “lemon blueberry cheesecake pots Tastycue” and these bad boys should pop up.

Austrian Apricot Cake (Marillenkuchen vom Blech) homemade!

This is one of my favourite summer cakes. My fiance lived in Germany for years (Bavaria) and made this at the restaurant he worked at but felt it was missing a little something. When we visited last I realized it’s because he’s so used to Greek yogurt in cakes now lol. I think we are finally happy with where the recipe is now.
I make it a lot for picnics and potluck style things because I don’t have to decorate and it’s literally still just a sheet cake. There’s a few more steps in this one but now I think I’m going to whip egg whites before every cake. There is a LOT of butter in this so be warned but it tastes light and fluffy!

Made Peach Crisp for Breakfast (homemade)

It’s Saturday!! So I was thinking of popping one of these in the oven. The photo graph is from a few weeks ago when I did the same but it’s kind of become a weekly thing. But my fiance works at 430 am so I sent him off with it for his crew so no photos of today’s one unfortunately but I’m sure the guys liked it. It takes a total of like 10 mins to prep it’s so crazy easy.

Little tip: I prep streusel in large bags crumble it and freeze them in cake / crisp size portions. You could also use deli containers for this and it makes morning prep sooo much faster.

It’s like… basically an oatmeal right?? RIGHT?!

I’ll put the recipe in the comments but also if you google “peach crisp Tastycue” it will be right at the top :)

White chocolate Mocha Five Minute Fudge (homemade)

Last year before Christmas I discovered the joy of five minute fudge. Before any fudge purists get to me, I agree this doesn’t taste AS good as regular fudge but these work great for a little pick me up or snack to give away around the holidays.

The base for any of the five minute fudge is

200g sweetened condensed milk (half a can)
290g white chocolate

The best part about this recipe is if you know it takes have a can you can make two flavors at once

And then I added for this one

1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp instant espresso (use decaf for kid-friendly!)
Optional: edible gold dust

I’ll put the full instructions in a link in the comments!

Biscoff pancakes (homemaaade!)

My fave pancakes I’ve ever made. I highly recommend putting Biscoff butter in your pancake batter and drizzling it over top the next time you’re debating making pancakes.

Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake (no bake and home made)

I really wasn’t into blueberries like at all for years but I made this for the first time last year, honestly for the algorithm for summer recipes but now I’ve made it so often. It’s so light and airy and it’s when I realized just how easy and quick it is to make lemon curd and blueberry compote. This was definitely a recipe that I made that made it feel like I could develop a lot more.

I’m not sure if you can see in the back but there is more blueberry compote in the middle of the cake.

Good tip when making no bakes: add cream of tartar to your whipped cream, it keeps it more airy as you fold in the cream cheese rather than it deflating from the weight.

Edit: wow yall this blew up I appreciate you all. If you’re looking for the recipe and you can’t see it in the comments just realized im allowed to post it in the post here you go!

Biscoff Pancakes

I was rereading the rules today and realized we can post sweet pancakes! These Biscoff pancakes are some I’m so proud of. I can only have this like once every 3 months but it is seriously my fave.

I’m not sure where to put the OC Tag but this is my original content ❤️
