I wanna see Jay on his own, as a movie critic.

I've been watching a whole lot of old Half in The Bags, and sometimes it seems like Jay wants to rant but he doesn't because he thinks it isn't the platform for it. I want to hear those rants. He's obviously a hardcore movie fan, with a weirdo bent. I wanna hear that shit.

Doug's review of X-Men 97 (season 2)

I basically agree with him completely. I thought it was awesome but I just wanted more. And Jubilee was finally cool.

I agree with Doug about Brand New Day

It was cool. I liked it. I don't necessarily mind Jean Grey being used in this role but it is so obviously being used as a jump off point for X-Men in the MCU. But that jump off is completely complicated by the upcoming Doomsday.

Like what the fuck are they doing?? They're introducing mutants into the MCU while also leading to multiverse crossover to incorporate the mutants of the Fox universe.

Do one or the other!! But they're apparently trying to do both. It just bugs me.

Also, they absolutely killed the character of Punisher, which I think was their goal.

Corey Graves is a great commentator

Michael Cole: I don't know what else to say.
Corey Graves: Just say, "You're right, Graves. Just once."

That was a great line and he is totally right. He finds a way to be absolutely truthful (in kayfabe) but still root for the heels. In my opinion, he really has perfected heel commentary in the modern day.

Might be the only diss track I actually feel bad for the recipient.

I'm a huge Royce fan. Royce is a dope rapper. Royce could probably hang with almost any other rapper.

He just happened to tangle with the best rapper on the planet and got completely dismantled. It is brutal but beautiful to listen to.

Constant (but not consistent) problems uploading Magic Receipts on mobile

I've been using Swagbucks for several years and never had any problems with this until I got a new phone (which is more more modern than my previous).

Now very often when I snap a pic to upload to Magic Receipts, it just loads for a second then goes back to the receipt screen. Nothing has happened. When I have tried it through mobile browsers, sometimes I see a message like "Webpage not found" or something like that then it just goes back to the main screen.

I've tried through the app and at least 4 different mobile browsers and it happens across all platforms. I've even tried putting my mobile browsers in Desktop Mode and same result. I've also tried clearing cache, restarting phone, even re-installing the app.

But the truly frustrating part is sometimes it works just fine the first time. Sometimes it works the second or third time. Today I had to try like 6 times and finally it worked. It eventually works but I just have no idea what the actually issue is and why it is so inconsistent.

I'm using my high speed mobile data (not wi-fi) and everything else internet connected is working fine so I don't think it is a network connection issue.

If I'm at home, I can just use my laptop but sometimes I'm snapping while I'm away from home and I'm trying to cash out immediately after getting the points. Has anyone else had problems like this or can offer any possible suggestions? Thank you.

Character interrupts another character to ask them "what?" when they're in the middle of telling them what.

Character 1: I just thought--

Character 2: You thought what?!

Just wait 2 seconds and let them finish their sentence. But then character 1 never finishes their sentence because they got hit with a hard what.

This is probably the one trope that does REALLY annoy me. And would probably make me full blown angry if someone did it in real life.

I think this looks way more Morbiusy than most people are admitting, thus far.

I really really really hope it is good. This trailer does not give me the impression that it will be though.

Character completely fails at explaining something extremely strange or paranormal

For example in a haunted house movie: Someone will experience full blown demonic entity trying to kill them, then when they describe it to someone later they will phrase it like "this house has an evil presence" or some vague shit like that.

Questioning Tony Khan's passion for pro-wrestling

I know the prevailing theory is that Tony Khan will keep AEW going as long as he is capable, but I just don't really buy into that theory.

I think it is a very real possibility AEW will lose their TV / streaming deal at some point, maybe soon. They're obviously not growing and expanding their options so they're only gonna decline if that happens.

I think Tony will fight to keep it alive until the bitter end but the bitter end will come. And he will consider himself so accomplished that he cuts his losses and spins it as a positive farewell, and he won't be entirely wrong. He did accomplish something unique in the pro wrestling industry. Maybe he will sell the brand name off (could be a good thing) or maybe he will just shut it all down.

He is literally an e-fed booker in real life. I used to be an e-fed booker when I was 16. I just thought it would be fun to do it cuz I liked watching wrestling and liked being creative. I didn't do it because I had "passion for pro-wrestling." When the hassle and drama got too much and I felt like it wasn't worth it anymore, I just shut it all down. I really think that is a possibility for Tony, and I think that might happen once the network money dries up.

As much as people wanna claim that "he is like us, but rich" I don't believe that at all, because the people who say that are people who claim to have "passion for pro-wrestling." I don't believe Tony Khan actually has passion for pro-wrestling. I just think he was a big fan, has an ego and found a way to feed it with his money.

And after AEW folds or declines significantly, there will be countless Youtube retrospectives about "The Rise and Fall of AEW" completely ignoring the people who pointed out its problems and predicted its demise along the way.

I can't help but like Ward

I know he is a bad guy but he is just fucking cool. I appreciate a villain who is extremely confident and capable. When he said "I'm everyone's type" I felt that, even as a straight dude.

Question about the Elix Skipper cage walk match

All these years, I've been under the impression that I saw that live (on TV) when it first happened. But today, I realized it happened in 2004 and I didn't even discover TNA until they went to SpikeTV in 2005.

I realize they're gonna include that in any "best of TNA" video package so it is possible I just saw it in something like that, but I have what feels like a distinct memory of watching the whole match with my roommate and us completely marking out when Skipper did that spot.

So my question is did they maybe air that whole match on Impact in the early days on Spike just to show off how awesome their X Division was? Or does anybody have any possibilities about why I might have a memory of watching that match when it happened before I even knew TNA existed? I guess it is possible my roommate bought / rented a DVD of it, but I know I never did and I really don't think he did either.

Re-watching, just got to "Turn, Turn, Turn"

The one where the Hydra agents inside Shield are revealed. I wasn't watching the show yet when it originally aired but I looked at the dates and this episode came out only 4 days after Captain America: Winter Soldier released.

So if you didn't go see it in those 4 days but watched this episode, it completely spoils that movie (which I still believe is the best MCU movie). I'm assuming there was a pretty big push in the Agents of SHIELD advertising that you MUST go see opening weekend because it was gonna tie into the show. Was there? And did anybody have it spoiled for them by the show? That would suck.

Characters not shutting their doors when exiting vehicles.

It makes sense in an emergency when they're fleeing for their life or something but it also happens when people are just doing regular things.

Watching a show set in Russian winter (very cold) and the guy literally tells his driver to "keep the car warm" then gets out of the back seat and leaves his door wide open. He's only going a few feet from the car and you can actually see it in the background open the whole time.

Started re-watching the show

It is so good from the very beginning. I don't understand how it developed a bad reputation at the time. It is just plain good and gets even better.

Did they miss Raquel's moment?

They finally figured out her look. She looks so cool now, legitmately. And she seems like a badass. And she is just plain bigger than almost every other women on the roster.

I do believe she can be presented as a main eventer or even a champion at any point. But I kinda feel like they missed the window of time when the crowds were going crazy for Raquel.

I'm still a little salty they didn't have Theory turn on Grayson for a babyface run.

It was right there. The crowds were literally chanting "TURN ON GRAYSON"

What more can you ask for?? Austin Theory could have been an over babyface and Grayson Waller could have been an over heel. I know the word "fumble" gets thrown around a lot but this was a legit fumble.

Nobody cares about either one of them now.

It really seems like they killed this on purpose, for SOME reason. I have no idea what that reason would be.

This is only tangentially related to CA but there is no other place I can post this

I don't think the Spider-Verse movies are that good. The animation is great!!! Obviously.

But the story and the movies themselves, I just don't get why they're considered so great. I literally turned off Across because it was so boring.

Am I missing something? Or is all their praise mainly due to the animation?
