Olivetti SC500 - 1992
I recently found my high school calculator, an Olivetti SC500. I am trying to replace the battery but cannot open the back, even after unscrewing the 2 small screws. I searched a user manual on google but without success. Does anyone know how to open it? After unscrewing the back I can feel it moves, but I am to scared you might break it applying too much force.

Did you get the update to use Gemini instead of Google assistant?
I got it but it seems to me that does not work properly. I cannot ask for directions it says “ok I set it “ but then nothing changes on map. What is your experience?

Aiuto per trovare Paolo, Scomparso a Milano
Da diversi giorni ormai abbiamo perso le tracce di Paolo Decaro, visto per l'ultima volta in zona Portello a Milano. Nel link allegato c'è la locandina che è stata fatta con la sua foto e più dettagli.

A question to the moderators
Hi,
I tried to post a couple of prints recently, but they have always been removed. In my profile I see that they have been removed by “Reddit filters” and I do not know what that means. Is it you removing the posts? Am I infringing some rule? I can’t understand why they are disappearing:)

A print on plywood
Wanted to stress the concept of “icon” a little bit more and tried to pull of plywood. It worked. Almost perfectly.
This is 4mm plywood with Amsterdam colors and a Gelelf plate.

I just finished setting everything up for the exhibition. As I already said, the bar is a super typical 1980s Milanese bar, nothing fancy, but I am super happy!

Ho fatto una mappa gel-printed di Baggio
Partendo da openstreetmap ho applicato un tema personalizzato e l’ho poi trasformato in una stampa al gel (chi non conosce la tecnica ed è curioso può dare un’occhiata qui: r/gelliprinting ). Il logo è quello usato dal Comune di Baggio fino agli anni ‘20 quando venne inglobato nella grande Milano fascista.
Non sono certo che si possa, al limite i moderatori interverranno, ma vorrei segnalare che da lunedì 18 maggio, per due settimane, alcune mie stampe (non questa, ma quelle della serie “icons”) saranno esposte al Bar Moccia in via Nikolajevka sempre a Baggio. Non vi inviterei ad andarci apposta, ma se siete in zona e volete prendere un caffè se fate un salto mi fa piacere :)

A gel printed map of my neighborhood, based on Open Street Map maps. The logo is the original emblem from before the 1920s when Baggio was an autonomous city. The huge dark area at the top of the map is the “Parco delle Cave”, one of the largest public parks in Milan
