Random Question-- Infant/Kid Sized Clothing Hangers

When we had our fist we bought baby/toddler plastic hangers from walmart in a pack of 10 for like $1.50. Over the years we bought quite a few more packs. Then we had a second baby and bought some more. I was about to order more today because both girls need a few more when I realized the tag on them says fits newborn-6T. My oldest is 4 but she is huge and usually wears a girls 6/7. So then I started thinking maybe I take the toddler hangers out of her closet to give to my 2 year old and replace the 4 year olds. I was about to order kid sized hangers from walmart (same price 10 for $1.50) but then I noticed it said fits clothing 2T to size 7/8 and I started thinking that might only be next summer. Should I just switch her to adult sized hangers? They feel really big for her clothes. What do other people do? I am positive I am over thinking this 😂

Higher Calorie Needs/Lower Weight?

I am very confused. I am a 36 year old female-- 5'7 and I started at 196lbs in September. I've hovered between 180 and 200 my whole adult life. I started sema in September and lost 30lbs by Christmas eating around 1400 calories per day. I've lost another 10 from January until May. I have 10-15 to my goal. I have upped my dose a few times over the last 5 months but I stayed stalled or very slow weight loss. I have struggled a lot more with both cravings and physical hunger the past few months. Here is the weird thing though-- when I have a few higher calorie days as long as the food is healthy--that is when I suddenly see some weight loss. I am very confused and having a hard time finding a plan that works for me because eating more feels counterintuitive so I keep reverting to 1400 calories and then I get super hungry and eat too much. The other hard part is big meals don't sit well because of the medication so all I want is to snack all day but that also doesn't feel like a super healthy habit. Is there a way to figure out your actual calorie needs besides just those generic calculators? I do not exercise. I have a 2 and 4 year old and am a full time teacher so I rarely sit down and we go for walks and stuff but no formal exercise. I'm just feeling a little discouraged. I feel really healthy and my clothes fit great and I am so happy but I was having so much success and now I feel so confused.

Makeup That Feels Like No Makeup

I am a mom to a 2 year old and a 4 year old. I am a teacher so we are coming up on summer break. For work I wear a pretty full face of makeup (concealer, foundation, blush, powder, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, brow pencil). I would like to find a makeup routine for summer that feels like I am not wearing makeup and is much less time consuming. Problem is I don't really have the best skin for going makeup free. I have some melasma from pregnancy that hasn't gone away, dark circles (bc 2 and 4 year old plus teacher haha), and some unevenness. I used to wear the Mac studio fix powder plus foundation and in the summer that worked great but since they removed talc from the formula I don't like it anymore. I tried the Drmtlgy tinted moisture and I liked the feel but it wasn't quite enough coverage. Any recommendations?

SSRI and GLP1

Kind of a specific question but worth a shot! I am a full time teacher, my husband works full time in finance, and we have a 4.5 year old daughter and a 2 year old who has some medical complexities. We have both our families close and lots of friends. The kids are busy with therapies and extra curriculars. We have a very full happy life. I have struggled with my weight my entire adult life. In September I started a GLP1 and have had really good success. I am down 40lbs and about 15lbs from my goal weight. I have struggled with anxiety since childhood. As an adult I felt like it was pretty well managed. Then I had kids and since then I have felt like it is more difficult to manage. I feel like I have a lot of plates up in the air and am always on the brink of them all coming crashing down. My therapist suggested talking to my GP about starting a SSRI (Zoloft or similar). My concern is that I really don't want to do anything that could mess with my weight loss. I have worked so hard for so long and finally had success. Part of me wonders if the SSRI might actually HELP because so much of my weight struggle is stress/emotional eating. But I have also seen weight gain as a side effect of SSRIs--although it sounded like that was more when it was used to treat depression as it caused an absent appetite to return. Just looking to hear experiences and advice!

Done Having Kids

I'll try to make a long story as short as possible. I went on birth control pills at 15 for incredibly heavy periods with debilitating side effects (cramping, diarrhea, acne, etc). I have had iron deficiency anemia most of my adult life and treatment has been largely unsuccessful. I took birth control pills back to back with no week off starting in my late 20s. This was pretty successful for me. I stopped getting a period completely. I came off birth control when I was 29 after I got married. I had my two babies in 2021 and 2024. For the 4ish years I was pregnant and breastfeeding I never had a period and for the first time my anemia was not an issue. After I was done breastfeeding my second baby I went back on birth control and it has been a disaster ever since (she is almost 3 now). I tried taking the pills back to back like I used to and it wouldn't stop my period--it came randomly and lasted for random amounts of time and was as heavy as ever. I started taking the pills normally with the placebo week so at least I know when it is coming but it has been horrible. I get 2-3 days before my period of horrible cramping and a swollen achy feeling in my vagina. Then for 6-7 days I have incredibly heavy bleeding. The first few days I go through an ultra tampon every 2-3 hours. The rest of the time I can use super plus tampons every few hours. I am a teacher and don't have bathroom breaks that often. On top of that I still get acne, cramping, swollen achy vagina, and diarrhea.

My GP suggested maybe trying an IUD or an implant. She said for some people it stops their period but I have also talked to lots of people who said these made things worse.

I am done having kids and it just seems insane to be struggling this month for a week plus every month for something I don't need anymore. I am almost 37 but don't see any signs of perimenopause yet.

Bag for Taking on Rides?

Any recommendations for a smaller bag that you wear on rides? We are going this summer for the first time with our 2 and 4 year olds. Obviously we will have a larger diaper bag and everything in our stroller--but we will need a few things while we wait in lines (snacks/entertainment, etc). Additionally my youngest uses cochlear implants and I may want to take them off and put them somewhere secure just before getting on a few rides. Looking for a smaller bag that would be easy to wear while we are on the rides with these things.

I am considering starting Zoloft to manage anxiety but I do not want to do anything to jeopardize the success I have had with semaglutide. I have lost about 40lbs and am about 10-15 from my goal. Anyone have experience with this?

I am a 36 year old mom of a 4.5 year old and a 2 year old. Overall, life is great. We have a beautiful home, my kids are happy and generally well behaved, we have family close and friends that are part of our village, and my husband I both have good jobs. I struggled with anxiety as a child and into early adulthood. I had bad test anxiety, struggled with unfamiliar situations, and worried more than your average person but I learned to manage it pretty well.

My youngest has some medical complexities and she is in a variety of therapies. In addition both kids do extra curriculars (gymnastics, dance, swim, soccer). I am a full time teacher and my husband works full time in finance. Our schedule is very full but everyone is happy and healthy and enjoys our life. The problem is-- in order for me to stay on top of everything the way that I like to (I am very type A in addition to my anxiety) I feel like I have 500 plates up in the air and am constantly on the brink of dropping one. My husband does try to support as best he can but he definitely is not an equal partner in terms of managing our lives and raising our kids despite his best efforts.

Lately I feel like I have been mean to both him and the kids. I feel rage come on quickly and unexpectedly at things that should not cause rage. I do think a lot of it has to do more with my husband than the kids because when I am alone with them it doesn't happen as often. It is not that he is doing anything wrong-- just when he is there I guess I feel like I should have more help but because he is not as good at taking care of lots of things as I am it ends up feeling better when I am just alone. I have lots of techniques for de-escalating (mostly from working with kids at school) and they work well but I find myself having to use them more often than I think I should.

Someone recently suggested talking to my doctor about Zoloft or a similar prescription to calm anxiety and that this might help with the rage as well. My wondering is if some of this is stemming from STRESS not just anxiety would that still be helpful?

I have been on sema for about 7 months now and am down about 45lbs with about 10 more to go. I have been very happy with my experience and very few issues. I am suddenly having a new issue that I have not experience before (either before or during my time on sema). I find that I will randomly get frantically hungry. It is not like I am starving and need a huge amount of food to fill me up-- but like if I don't eat right this second I am going to die type of a feeling. The only thing I can think of is low blood sugar? I eat breakfast around 7am and my next 3 meals around 10:30, 3:30, and 7. This seems to be happening before my 10:30 and 3:30 meals. I eat around 1400 calories per day with 100+ grams of protein. I split calories pretty evenly between my four meals. What am I doing wrong here? Am I missing something? The main problem (besides it being a bit unpleasant) is that sometimes I will grab the fastest/easiest thing instead of waiting to eat what I have prepped and I am worried if that keeps happening it will affect my results.
