Any tips for helping a new rescue GSD? She has the basics down but she is so curious and excited. I’ve read lots of exercise and mental stimulation? What does that look like? Like I think my mom said she hid treats around the yard and got her this toy that’s like a puzzle. Anything else we can provide Roxy? We need to work with her on walking (she gets excited and pulls) and she likes to jump on people. My mom was talking about hiring a trainer but I’m just worried we’re not challenging her enough if that’s a thing?
I would like to formally introduce my pup Roxy aka Roxy Tom aka Roxy Foxy. We adopted her from the Paws for Life program at California Medical Facility. She’s perfect (we just need to continue her training of course). She’s 3 years old and the inmates believe she is part German shepherd part husky but we can do a DNA test sometime so we can ensure that we meet her breeds needs. Welcome home Roxy!
I hate my hair color. It looks dull. What do I do to make it look more alive and bright? I just got my haircut done like 10 minutes ago.
I’ve read all the recommendations said in here and still want advice. Refurbished Dyson or buy something brand new for cheaper? I’m getting my hair cut next week and was thinking of doing like a textured lob which I know will probably require more effort on my part (any suggestions are welcome, I’m bored with my current hair. Also my hair can get wavy, it’s just the longer it is, the straighter it gets).
1). Dyson- I read tons of reviews before buying and I noticed that the reviews for refurbished are average 3.8 but the website wouldn’t let me read them. It took me to the reviews for brand new.
2.) T3 Featherweight- Cheaper than Dyson. The ones recommended in this sub are for the featherweight but when I google best hair dryers for fine hair, it brings up another model, the air luxe.
3.) The shark flex style gets a lot of hype and it is on sale for $150 but has an average 4.4 rating so it makes me nervous.
4.) Under $100 hair dryers like Laifen and baby rapido can’t be that bad right?
Any one have any experience with this procedure? I had a hysterectomy and lost my belly button. I want it back lol. I’m really insecure and freaked out by my new body. (I could probably also use a tummy tuck at some point but I’m scared of what the scar combined with my current scar will look like lol).
So I went into surgical menopause and my body looks like that of a 80 year old (maybe not that drastic but I’m insecured asf lol). Anyways, I noticed in a photo that it now looks like I have no eyebrows. I cannot master the whole filling them in and making them look good. I’ve been lurking this sub and I’m confused. I’m assuming I want nano or powder brows? I’m probably going to get my eyebrows tinted in the meantime but I’m scared (should have not looked at the before and after in this sub). *Current eyebrows for tax.
I got myself into a pickle and I need a dress ASAP. I was invited to my nieces graduation, forgot all about it and it’s on Thursday lol.
Has anyone found any dresses they loved from Amazon or any stores in person? I don’t want a super expensive one since I’ll probably only wear it once or twice.
5’1, 145 lbs. I leave Wednesday afternoon and I work until 7 Tuesday night and will probably work from home Wednesday morning. My back up plan is these black shorts I just got from J. Crew and a nice top.
I keep seeing conflicting information on whether high waisted bottoms look good on petite women. My issue: lost my belly button and have a scar running from below my sternum to my pubic bone. I also lost a lot of weight and have maybe an apron belly? I’m just trying to find my new style and look good. I’ve attached some full body pictures so people know what I’m working with. I’m 5’1 but 5’2 with vans (lol) and 145-150lbs.
I had to go to urgent care today and this is what they used to wrap my ankle.
I was literally looking up the best way to get to the Fillmore when the dogs I’m sitting got into a vicious fight and my foot got involved. So I’m at Urgent care instead. Pay me what you can or pay me in merch and take videos for me.
Lagwagon at Fillmore. I ticket available.
I got my first tattoo in honor of my dad (he loved the mountains and my grandma told me when she was dying of cancer that every time someone dies, a new star is born.
Now, my puppy Auggie died. I want to get his paw print tattooed like the second picture. I’m debating adding a heart like the third picture. So thoughts?
Third question- Since I already have a memorial tattoo , should I put it in the area above or below my dad’s tattoo? Or wherever on my body?
