I posted my custom Phoenix yesterday, and this is my 2007 full thickness Eclipse. It was from a small run by the shop Bmusic, in Australia, in gloss black as opposed to the usual vintage black satin finish. I‘ve owned this guitar for over a decade and it’s yellowed a bit over the years, and the hardware has been replaced (see filthy corroded toggle switch haha).
This guitar was also stolen from me at one point but I was able to recover it thanks to a friend and also this specific guitar in this specific finish being super uncommon in the USA.
Photography is a small hobby of mine (so apologies if you’ve seen this guitar a million times elsewhere haha) and have been experimenting with different lighting recently. Figured I’d share these shots of my Phoenix custom.
I love Norlins. Nothing else to add, really.
2013 that’s had a couple headstock repairs (now with splines, been rock-solid since then) that was originally ebony, but had it refinished to a white with heavily yellowed nitro last year.
Hard for me to get a good photo of them all but I tried. Uploaded the high res version so zoom in for more detail.
I’ve gotten the sezzle spend emails for years as I signed up for the app at some point but haven’t used it much at all. Was going through my junk emails earlier and saw I have $100 for Amazon. What’s the catch with this? Interest, or what? I see I have to sign up for the premium to use it. Which is .70 cents for the first month, but I imagine since this is a buy now pay later, it will take longer than a month to pay the whole thing if it’s every two weeks and I’ll be charged full price for the second month. Or am I missing something?
I suppose even paying the subscription for a month makes it an alright deal still, just curious what’s going on with this.
Something a little different from my usual LP posts.. 2013 Firebird V that’s been modded with a Duncan JB in the bridge and a 3 knob control setup (2 vol, 1 tone). I like this guitar a lot.
