Comic Life 3 - images are blurry when resized - need a work around

I like Comic Life 3 so far, but when you drop in an image, and resize the image, it gets very blurry. So I plan to do my resizing in Photoshop and then move the images in to CL3 at the exact correct size. My plan is to start with the image in CL3, make it the correct size in the panel, take the measurement, and delete. Then do the actual resize in Photoshop, and drop it back in CL 3 at the correct size. Here's the problem.. when I get the image to the correct size in CL3, it doesn't display the pixel measurements, so there is no way to know what size I should make the image in PS. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I guess I could just do more of the work in PS, and only move it over to CL3 when the whole page is basically done, and I'll only use CL3 for the text bubbles.

Directx12 is not supported on your system ???

Hi I am running win 10 LTSC 64 ( build 17763)

I have noticed a few times recently when I try to load a project in unreal engine, or I try to start some very new games, I get the message: "Directx12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the (relevant) command line argument." The game or project wont load. When I check the DirectXdiag tool I do confirm Directx version 12 on my system. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix? Thanks

Should Daz-to-Unreal be Available to Install in Studio 6?

Hi, Ive got Daz studio 6 installed on my win10 system.

I remember in the past using DaztoUnreal to export a character to Unreal engine, I think this was an older version of Daz. Now in Studio 6, I can't find it... in the DAZ installer, it is not on the installed list and it does not appear on the Available to install list. According to my searching it should be available to install, even though apparently there are compatability problems. Anyone know?

My Experience with Snorles - Genioflex - UPDATE 8/26: Apnea Index drops from 8.6 to 4.1

Hello, I had a separate thread where I recorded my experience with the Snorles device, and it was archived so I could not post this update.

https://www.reddit.com/r/SleepApnea/comments/1pymd3b/my_experience_with_snorles_genioflex/?logging_in=true

Here is the old thread text with the update at the bottom.

Hi, I have decided to purchase the Snorles GenioFlex device and post my experience with it here. This is a muscle stimulation device that specifically targets the tongue muscles. I will use it per the directions, 20 mins per day for 3 months. My snoring was keeping my wife awake, so I made an appointment with a sleep doctor and was diagnosed with borderline Apnea. I am already using the replenish nozzle on my water bottle, and have been for several months.

12/22/25. I visited the Snorles website to ask a question, I have seen posts from people stating that it took weeks to receive the device, I want them to confirm if there is a long wait. I tried to submit the question through the website and this failed, I tried two different browsers. I also sent an email to an address I found on their website.

12/23 I tried again and my query seems to have submitted. No reply to my email yet.

12/29 No response, but it's Christmas week, I submitted again.

1/3/26 No response, I submitted the question again through the Snorles website.

1/15 I received an answer from Snorles via email, they said it will take about a month. I placed an order via the website.

2/18 The device finally arrived.

3/11/2026 I started using the device. It's not pleasant, but not painful either. The treatment causes my mouth to fill with saliva, and the pulses seem less effective with a full mouth. I usually spit out the saliva half way through a 20 min treatment. IF this treatment is effective, I would take it over cpap hands down. But the jury is still out, according to my wife there has not been a noticeable improvement in my snoring yet. I use it right before I go to sleep while listening to an audiobook. I will continue to use it every day and post here occasionally.

5/13/2026 I've been using it every day for about two months. My wife still says that I snore and gasp in my sleep, no change there so far. I do not feel like it is working. However, my target is three months, and when I hit that mark I will ask my doctor if can take another test and I will post the result here.

5/20/2026 Still using it. I had another conversation with my wife about it, I wanted to be very clear about what snoring/apnea behavior she was observing. Until I get re-tested she is my only feedback mechanism, not very scientific I know. She says that I still snore, but I asked her if I still do the apnea breathing pattern, ie. stop breathing followed by gasping. She said that I don't do this anymore, she said that she has only heard this once in the last few weeks, whereas I used to do it frequently a few months ago. This is a very positive development!

July-Aug 2026.

After using the device for three months, I contacted my sleep doc and asked for another sleep test. It took a bit of time to get this done so I've actually used it closer to four months. Here are the results vs my first test.

10/23/2025 home test: overall apnea-hyponea index 8.6 events per hour with nadir O2 saturation of 88%

07/17/2026 home test: overall apnea-hyponea index 4.1 events per hour with nadir O2 saturation of 93%

My weight has not changed.

I had a followup with the sleep doctor. You would think he would be amazed that his patient improved so much with the condition he treats every day. Not so much, he said the Snorles device is not on is approved list. He tends to only treat patients who have index above index of 5, and since I'm below that he said to reach out again if the situation worsens.

Incompatible Hardware Error #23 on my Pint today? what's the fix?

Hi, Ive got a Onewheel Pint that I don't use very often. I rode it for about 20 min this morning, then got a low battery warning so I started charging it. It charged about half way, and when I tried to use it the red warning light flashes, the board won't operate and the message on my phone is error 23, incompatible hardware. Obviously there is no new or modified hardware. Anyone know what this error is about and how to fix it?

Old Toto Snowblower, how to get it working ?

Hi

Ive got an old snow blower in my garage, it was my Dads. It hasn't been used in at least 6 years, maybe more. It's a Toro 1000E. I plan to either get it working this summer or get rid of it. Ive never used it, in fact I have limited exposure to gas powered lawn tools. Does anyone know a good strategy to get it going ? Should I just put gas in it and pull the cord? Or are there steps to take first? Thanks!

Layer of ICE keeps forming at the bottom of the Frigidaire Freezer

Hi, I've got a Frigidaire with side by side doors, freezer on left. Ive noticed some drops of water getting past the freezer seal at the bottom and dripping onto the floor. I found a layer of ice forming at the bottom of the freezer. I removed all the ice. I also I turned up the cold setting to 9 out of 10. The drops of water ceased for a few days, but yesterday it happened again. The ice is back at the bottom of the freezer just a few days after I removed it. Does anyone know what might cause ice formation at the bottom of the freezer? The ice cube maker and tray is all the way up at the top. It seems to suggest temperature differences in the different areas of the freezer.

The Fridge is about 5 years old.

The freezer door seal seems to be pretty strong, ie. pulling the freezer door open and you feel some resistance.

Anyway, hoping someone has had the same issue and figured it out. Thanks

Tiny flash of light inside dimmer switch when turned on, is it a problem?

Hi, my son noticed a tiny flash of light inside the dimmer switch for the kitchen lights when they're turned on. This flash may have been occurring since the day this switch was installed, I'm not sure.

See image, the flash appears in the area I circled.

https://postimg.cc/HcFvxcMZ

The switch controls the ceiling lights in the kitchen, and there is a separate non-dimmer switch on another wall that controls these same lights. Notice that the switch sits right next to another identical dimmer switch for different lights and there is NO flash when these lights are switched on.
I have read that this flash can be totally normal, but I also read that this could indicate that the switch should be replaced. Anyone know the answer? Thanks!

Thanks!

BTw is it possible to manually install 3Delight somehow?

How to replace a section of copper pipe with PEX in a tight space (between studs)???

Hi, a 3/4 copper water pipe in my garage ceiling sprung a pinhole leak, I patched it with epoxy putty but now I plan to replace the bad section of the pipe with PEX A and connect it with sharkbites. I haven't done this before but I've watched some videos so i know about prepping the ends and measuring properly, but I don't see how i can make a copper to pex to copper connection in the space I have to work with. I opened a section of the drywall ceiling exposing 14 inches of the copper pipe between studs. If i remove a few inches of the bad copper, then put sharkbires on either side, then I have to get the pex section into both sharkbites, and it is supposed to go in straight, everything I have watched says the the ends should go in straight. The pex is flexible but it isnt that flexible. Are pex and sharkbites the wrong solution for this tight space? Or is there another way to handle it? Thanks

DS223j - trying to enable 2 factor auth- but required to use Google or QQ or MS email ??

Hi I've got a DS223j that I use for personal use, I keep important pics on it and and I want to enable 2 factor auth, since I use it almost everywhere else, ie when I login to the NAS I enter a code from an app on my phone as well as login credentials. I went into the NAS settings and it says that first I must enable the email notification service. okay - so it takes me to the Synology Account page and it says that I must first set up a sender. OKay but the Sender drop -down only allows Gmail, Microsoft, QQ or custom configured server. Anyone interested in privacy is not using these email services and I'm not a tech guy so I don't run my own server. IS there another way to accomplish 2 factor auth for login to a DS223j , or are they just pushing everyone to use these personal info exploitation services?
