not much left at the merch booth
French guy here, at the Paris show. I’ve waited for years for an occasion to see her live, as you can imagine it’s not often that I get to see artists like her in my city. I could not wait to buy tickets when they were announced. The show was great. I’m ready to buy merch. It’s half empty when I reach the booth. I’m kinda pissed now.
Availability of the Petite Porteur House Bag?
Hi! Do you all know if the Petite Porteur House Bag will be available anymore, or if it’s discontinued?
It’s been sold out everywhere for some time now, but it’s only now that I got the money to buy it
(I’m in Europe, idk if that changes anything)
Solar everywhere: As the most attractive rooftops and favourable sites fill up with solar, the logic of dual use is taking hold. After agrivoltaics, floating PV and building-integrated solar, it is now the turn of infrastructure such as roads, railways, canals and dikes to become a solar resource. 🌞

In my last video some people um, actually'd me that infinite growth really was possible. This is why they're wrong.
Am I stupid, or is there no way to navigate from field to field in the right sidebar? By force of habit I press the tabulation key, but it’s used to navigate from discussion to discussion… I just want an easy way to go from "width" to "height" or whatever without having to use the mouse.

Following yesterdays post about Kacey Musgrave’s “Dry Spell” and dirty/spicy lyrics I saw that all the comments were referencing male writers/singers. Are there many raunchy/sexy country songs written and sung by women?
When Loretta Lynn sings “The Pill” she is talking about female desire but thats the only one I could think about.

With Songkick being bought by AI company Suno, and Bandcamp’s position against AI, I think that the Songkick integration on Bandcamp should switch to another provider.
For years I’ve followed my favorite bands upcoming shows on Songkick. The data on Songkick is also what’s used on the Bandcamp website, for the list of upcoming shows. Now, Songkick has been bought out by Suno, so that all the data will be eaten up by AI
> Yes, Suno is stealing the data we’ve given to Songkick over the years, presumably to create new AI slop that is tailor-made to fit secretly gathered user preferences. But given the new job listing, it goes beyond that. Suno is using the database of over 10 million users’ concert history to enable a “creation-to-discovery” pipeline. In other words, this is to create an infrastructure for AI music to become integrated with live artist touring. At the moment, it remains unclear what this would actually look like in practice.

Given that Bandcamp has a strong anti-AI stance, I think that it should switch to another provider for the upcoming shows data.
As for me, I’ve deleted my Songkick account, I don’t want AI companies having all that info about me. And in this case I _can_ act on the data they will get about me.
