I don’t have an Africa Twin yet, but I’m seriously considering buying one and I’m trying to decide between a model with tubeless wheels and one with traditional tubed spoke wheels.
I’ve read the technical pros and cons, but I’d like to hear from actual owners:

• If you have a tubeless Africa Twin:
• Do you feel it’s significantly better in daily use (on-road and light/moderate off-road)?
• Have tubeless tires saved you from headaches with punctures or roadside repairs?
• Any issues with rim damage, beads sealing, or compatibility with certain tires?
• If you have a tubed Africa Twin (or had one before):
• Have you been able to get along perfectly fine with tubes?
• How often do you get flats, and how hard are they to deal with on the road/trip?
• Would you upgrade to tubeless if you bought again, or are you happy staying with tubes?

Basically: is tubeless on the Africa Twin a “must-have” upgrade, or can you live very comfortably with the tubed setup and just carry a spare tube / pump / CO₂?
If you could briefly mention your typical riding (mostly road, mixed, or serious off-road) that would help a lot.

In my research for an Adventure Bike I came across cfmoto 800 MT and was actually really surprised about how good the test ride was. Before that test ride my focus was on the Honda Transalp or the BMW 800 GS Adventure. But looking at the low prices and the amount of tech the standard version of the 800 MT comes with, made me question my decision. Could it be a good alternative to the established manufacturers? Who has one and can tell, what your personal experience owning one is so far?

Was ist eure Meinung zum Zeitpunkt des Motorradkaufs? In einigen YT-Videos und auf manchen Seiten wird empfohlen eine neue Maschine erst im Herbst zu kaufen. Da laufen die Jahresmodelle aus, die neuen werden vorgestellt und die Saison nimmt ein Ende. Man kann also ein Schnäppchen machen. Bei privatem Kauf/Verkauf kann ich das bestätigen, wurde selbst schon mal runtergehandelt bis mir die Ohren geschlackert hatten, weil ich mein damaliges Motorrad noch vor dem Winter loswerden wollte, um keine Garagenkosten zu zahlen.

Aber gilt das auch für Händler? Sollte man mit dem Kauf eines neuen Motorrads, das gerade im Angebot ist, warten bis der Herbst kommt und dann beim Händler kaufen?
