"Positive reinforcement, like giving treats, is something that we never do here at Lazy Oaks. First of all, if you don't have treats, the horse is definitely not going to do what you ask him to do AND it creates a lot of disrespect and a lot of pushiness."
I thought this was interesting. For all the "scientifically all animals do best with positive reinforcement only so dogs should be trained that way too" arguments.
