How can I cheaply have a small item sent from Germany to Spain remotely?

EDIT.- SOLVED! THANK YOU!

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in Spain and recently stayed at a hotel in Germany. Unfortunately, I left a small personal item (bracelet)  in my hotel room, and the hotel has confirmed that they still have it.

The item weighs only around 50 grams, so it should be very easy and inexpensive to send.

The problem is that I’m already back in Spain, and I’m trying to find the cheapest and easiest way to arrange the return without making the hotel go through too much hassle (as they don't seem to want to anyway).

One option I was thinking about is using Deutsche Post. For example, could I:

  • Buy the postage/stamps or a prepaid shipping label online from Spain.
  • Send the postage/label and an envelope to the hotel.
  • Ask the hotel simply to put the item in the envelope, attach the postage/label, and drop it into a Deutsche Post mailbox.

Would something like this work in Germany?

Alternatively, is there another (inexpensive) service or method used for a similar situation?

I’m happy to pay the postage in advance. I’m mainly looking for a solution where the hotel doesn't have to pay anything or arrange complicated shipping.

Any advice from people familiar with Deutsche Post, DHL, or sending small items internationally from Germany would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

¡Gracias!

Walking Tours after 6 PM (Teenage friendly)?

Hey! I'm looking for an (affordable) walking tour on a Saturday after 6 PM (arriving in that day).

Our plan is to walk around the city and get to know the area as we plan to stay for a whole week. This way we will get familiar with Heidelberg.

I think there are usually fire works every Saturday during Summer...

Arriving in August. Any suggestions? Maybe wait until Sunday morning? Thank you!

EDIT.- SOLUCIONADO. ¡GRACIAS!

I want birds, not wasps

Hi! For context, I live in a suburban area (I know about this sub and was living in the country side for some years). We have a small garden and have put a little water container for birds to drink. However, all I get are wasps around it.

How can I get rid of the wasps so birds can access? I'm also concern about wasp nests. Thank you.

NDE Memories are consistent with vivid episodic recollection and differ from neural patterns commonly associated with imagined or false memories. STUDY

From the Abstract: *"*Conclusions: Controlled reliving of memories of REDs/authentic NDEs may represent a useful experimental paradigm for investigating multisensory autobiographical memory and neural processes related to conscious self-experience. These findings are consistent with vivid episodic recollection and differ from neural patterns commonly associated with imagined or false memories."

Hi! We are looking for suggestions of a place to go this Summer for a week or two for a 13 yo with both parents.

The kid is learning German as a third language.

Ideally would be a school or organization with activities for teenagers for 3-4 hours a day and then the rest of the day too spend with his family in a rental place.

All suggestions/ recommendations/ ideas welcome!

Thank you very much.
