I need your honest opinion help ;(
If it's too long start reading from (\*) down.
I'm a digital artist specializing in semi/hyper realism.
While I started with an anime/cartoonish style, I’ve found my true joy in realism.
As a perfectionist, I prefer producing two high quality near perfect pieces over ten decent ones that I'm not really satisfied with. (That's why i have lesser peaces so I'm trying to fix it)
Previously, I had friends and online acquaintances reach out to me and i did occasionally take commissions(when i wasn't busy with uni). They loved the results and offered significant money, but I prioritized uni by then.

Now after 4 years that I’m taking public commissions seriously, I'm getting zero clients.
Is my art the problem, or is semi/hyper realism out of demand? Or is it the pricing?
Having struggled with social media before, I've largely given up on Instagram, TikTok, and Reels marketing that's not my field of expertise n I'm in peace with it.
What am I doing wrong, and how can I fix it?
I was genuine advices pls the more the slap stings, the faster i lock back into reality.
