So, I’m a total theater kid-I figured I should know at least the basics of ballet, sense it’s such a beautiful and fundamental dance. (Also sorry if I totally mess up vocab or say something dumb) I’d say I’m fairly good at tap dance, know jazz dance, and obviously musical theater dace-so I have dance experience-so it’s not like I’m starting from totally nothing? I have tights and jazz shoes and skin tight gym wear that I wear to stretch and learn from YouTube lessons and pintrest streach tuts. lol. Is it possible to be a self taught ballet dancer? At 14 (F)?? If so, what YouTube channels will help?? I need all the help I can get! Also, I ordered pointe shoes AS DECOR FOR RIGHT NOW DONT WORRY I WONT BREAK MY ANKLES USING THEM FOR AT LEAST A YEAR!
EDIT: guys I promise I’ll be safe about pointe shoes. I won’t put them on until a teacher says I can!

Hey guys I need a third party opinion. :)
So my firend, let’s call her Jane, has on/off been my firend sense 1st grade but we’ve had rough spots. We’re entering high school now btw. Jane is kinda judgy and weird about some things. She really values alone time (arguably more than with friends) and is very stubborn (so am I, we’ve agreed on that lol) now, some info on me, (trust this is important) I’m a total theater kid, NOT A HOBBY, it’s what I want to do in life and she knows that. (It’ll come in later dw) and I’m lesbian, and she knows that, and is theoretically fine with it. She’s really smart and not I REPEATE not really at all empathetic or in a weird way just dosent understand how to be. She’s really sheltered (I’m not) and her family is legit “perfect” genuinely Getty images family lmao(mine is weird but we all <3 eachother but it’s just not the normal mold)she also does not like musicals or theater and refuses to pretend to, even though she knows I love it. Like, she can’t even be like “oh it’s fine that you like that I just dont” Aanyway so a few things she has said on separate occasions

ME “well I know becuase you hate theater…ect”
JANE: “no no I don’t *hate* theater, I’m just glad people that do it have a hobby!”

JANE “I just can’t imagine someone doing\*nsfw lesbian thing\* to me, like ew.

JANE “I dunno I just think it’s kinda weird, like, why would you wear that to school? It’s just…I dunno, I think somethings wrong with her” \*gestures to the girl being autistic and fyi that’s 1) completely fine to be autistic ??2) not weird, it’s cool 3) so fking mean to say 4) not that it matters but she’s not autistic)

ME “talking about how it’s hard to be happy sometimes, mental health stuff”
JANE “well yeah but you can just choose to be happy”

Needless to say, she’s neurotypical. (Or VERY not neurotypical)
That’s just some examples, and she’s causing more pain than happiness. I want to slowly separate from her in high school and so does one or two people in my firend group. This is less a AITAH and more am I crazy for not liking her over this? She’s being a b!ch right???

*EDIT* so I wanted to add, she’s really judgmental about people’s looks and how they dress and stuff like I said. I’m a natural brunette and just dyed my hair to bright orange and black tips, she asked for a pic, I sent her one, she was like “ooo it’s so different and cute” 😭 bruv

So there’s that first situation and uhm girly WHA- but anyway later that same day of hanging out we were talking about lgbtq stuff again (idk why I’m NOT pressing it on her I promise) Oh also did I mention she said once

Anyway
We were talking about ✨more spicy time stuff✨and sorta out of no where in a kinda disgusted tone she says

And at first I snorted because that was out of nowhere but like she was so GENUINELY DISGUSTED but anyway, am I crazy for thinking she’s borderline homophobic??

Hi fellow Aphrodite besties! (Little backstory: ima a begginer Wicca, Aphrodite is my first contact with a deity, but I’ve been working with her for about half a year off and on, writing letters and have two candles and a alter for her. It’s small and quaint. I’ve never really delt into religion before this so i apologize but *im still working on getting myself to belive, and I take fault for that, sorry*) anyway I’m struggling to write letters leave offerings so each time I shower I light a few pink/red/blue candles for her and turn off the lights and shower by her candlelight. I talk to her in the shower like I would a firend, and sometimes show her my music and stuff. These showers leave me with a feeling of fluffy happiness I get most times I contact her. Is this ok?
