Story time!!
I went to "Epic Comic Con" in Glasgow and I was pretty bummed out I couldn't find any Iron Lung merch. That is until I found something better than that. I was not really vibing, being nervous n all, and saw an event being hosted where some famous voice actor was doing a Q&A. I had no idea who they were and personally Il admit I was being a bit judgy by assuming I wouldn't know them whatsoever. Until I walked out of the back area of the Q&A seeing a signature stand for someone called "Elsie Lovelock". I of course was an idiot and went off of the first thing I could see, which was a banner with "Uzi" from "Murder Drones". I was about to shrug it off and wonder away, but I stopped when I noticed one of the sheets you could get signed was "The Eel" from "Iron Lung". I was shocked and to be truthful pretty baffled. I went over to the guy at the stand and asked if this person was the actor of "The Eel" and they said yes. I then told my Uncle and he said if I want it then buy it. So we waited 1 hour (I think) maybe less, to see her. Before I got in line I turned to my little cousin and said that the girl was the voiceactor for "Uzi", she then asks her dad (My Uncle) if she can get a signature from her to which he says he's not sure if he can because she spent most of her money. Now keep in mind all I had bought was a £13 Ghostface mask at the time, so I had alot of money I knew I wasn't going to spend. I then offered to pay for a signature for her. My uncle lent me half to pay. We met her. It was nice because my cousin was shy, and quite truthfully, I was too. Being beside my cousin for the same reason as her was nice. She spoke to "Elsie" and had a cute little interaction, got her signature and she was happy. Then I got mine and asked if she didn't mind drawing a small image of "The Eel" on the side. She did it and I appreciated it alot. Then I put my card on the money thingy and accidently mustv said too loudly "Please work, Please work." It worked and I was like "Thank god". "Elsie" and her team kinda laughed with me since I was worried it was gonna go to crap. But it didn't. Very fun experience! Also I got to meet a guy who cosplayed as "Simon". Very badass dudat!!
