Hey guys
I am currently staying in Nungambakkam but there has been water issue here from past 2 weeks and it may take months to get resolved.
So my flatmates and I are looking for a 2bhk or 1bhk or 1RK in and around Nungambakkam (around 6km) . We also work in Nungambakkam.
If anyone has any leads or place for rent. Pls help out.
Rent we can afford, per person 7-8k( that is if 4 persons can stay then around 30k)
We all are bachelor males, aged 25-27M
Hi
I am 25 M, working as an income tax inspector(ITI).
I graduated in May 2024 from an IIT ( top 10 IITs) but the branch is integrated masters in science (5yr course)
I joined as ITI in may 2025 and I am not satisfied with my job as it is group B post and promotions are damn slow. It may take 15-20 years to become ACIT,IRS. Also, lot of work is done by ITI and not mush respect is given in office.there is no inter state transfer in income tax department and I am not posted in my homestate.
Recently I have been thinking about starting my prep for upsc. But I don't know if I can crack this exam. My background/ bachelors doesnt have gs and I am scared of starting as I feel i am not ratta marna kinda person and in upsc most of it is memorization only.
I want to get out of this job to higher post or group A post.I will not choose IAS,IPS or ifs.
How to assess myself if I can crack upsc. How are other posts in upsc other than IAS,IPS,IRS,IFS? What other exams I should try? I don't want to leave my job for preparation.
Please suggest.
