I had a tooth extraction done and was proscribed azithromycin (antibiotic like penicillin because I am allergic to penicillin) to take for like 6 days. The dentist told me this was “just in case an infection happens”. I didn’t think about it at the time but I really don’t want to take antibiotics “just in case”. I always have some type of bad reaction or side effect. Ive had a tooth extracted before by a different dentist and was not prescribed antibiotics. This tooth was not a molar or wisdom tooth. Is it very necessary to take the antibiotic?

So I downloaded tilt for the first time, they gave me a 400$ advance & I used it. I got paid the following Friday which was 4 days from the day I borrowed so it auto paid back with no issue. I log back in and now it says I can only borrow $100? Does this usually happen?

So life happened and I fell behind with the payments. I missed a few payments & the card went over limit. The full limit on the card is about $8500. I have not been making regular payments on the card. I tried to pay more than the minimum amount that is due BUT the interest eats everything that I pay and then the card goes back over balance. I know that the way to help this is to make bigger payments but I’m doing as much as I can. My questions are

Is there a way to ask my credit union who gave me the card to pause the interest? Is that a thing?

Is there a way to delete the late payments from my credit report? The credit bureau says it’s causing a bigger issue than the balance on the card.

My credit score is so low because of this I’m wondering if I should just say forget it and file bankruptcy to eliminate all my other debt too. My credit score is under 500 & I’m tired. My other debt includes mostly non discardable debt like student loans and income tax. I have maybe 1K of discardable debt.

So, I originally had like a 3 or 4K limit with affirm. I used my account somewhat regularly. Like maybe 3-4 times a year.. always paid back on time then randomly I logged in and see something telling me to check what my purchasing power would be and they said they couldn’t give me any purchasing power. I was so confused on what happened. I paid on time and everything, never missed a payment. I would pay my affirm before paying my bills if I had too (LOL) i loved affirm! After that I did decide to miss a payment because they weren’t going to let me use it anyways and I could use the funds elsewhere. After about a month I paid everything that I missed & of course I still don’t have purchasing power. Will they ever let me use them again?

Hello! I am looking for an air purifier for mainly smoke and cat smells.. we also have allergies but the smells is the main focus. We have about a 1K square foot apartment with 1 bedroom. The bedroom is medium sized & fits a king bed, the living space is larger would fit maybe 3 king beds. We clean our cat box everyday but I still smell a faint cat smell.. I don’t know how to explain it. My partner & friends say they don’t smell it but I do. Anyways looking for something around 200$, im in the USA. Preferably something on Amazon. Thank you!

Im looking for either a sectional or loveseat & couch set for under $2K USD that will hold me and my partner who weigh 600ish combined. I prefer it to be deep seat and firmer. Something we can lay and lounge on. We have looked into lovesac and flexsteel so looking for any other options and also no wayfair lol thank you!!

My new neighbors moved in and immediately started blasting music, fighting & throwing parties. They moved in like a month ago. The first day they moved in, they had a party or get together of like 7-10 ppl & was blasting music but I get it.. new apartment they probably were excited. Everyday since then the music is nonstop ALL day. Like literally from maybe noon-2/3am sometimes later. They’ve had a get together every Friday and Saturday since they moved in. They are a younger couple and they also fight verbally and I believe physically. My apartment complex does have some rent controlled units and it’s very obvious they don’t work. I’m just being honest. People like them give low income apartments a bad rep. The way this apartment is set up it’s almost like multiple buildings of 4 plexes and my unit is right beside them on the first floor. If I leave a note, it’s obviously from me. I’ve debated on leaving a note “from the leasing office” but actually from me. I don’t want no issue with them especially because they fight each other i don’t want them to try to pull that with me. This really sucks because our building was very quiet before them.

So this may be a lot, please carefully read till the end. I am currently on intermittent FMLA while I deal with a new diagnosis. I have been on it a couple months.. when I first got on it, my manager pried so hard to try to figure out why I was on it by asking me multiple times if I wanted to share with her and or our team of 4 ppl at the time. I politely declined by pretty much avoiding the question. I can take 3 days a week off but I barely take 1 or 2 if I really really need to because I’m worried about being retaliated against or like they’ll fire me after or something.

Now to get to what happened.. we have a teams group chat with our manager and our team of 4 ppl including me. It’s honestly not really work related. We pull each other’s legs and crack jokes in the chat all the time. Sometimes there’s an occasional message in there about free lunch being offered or something like that. Last week was employee appreciation week and our job was offering a bunch of free stuff like gift cards, breakfast, lunch etc on one certain day. I made a joke in the groupchat saying “We’re getting spoiled today! I guess I wont quit today, I’ll quit tomorrow lol” Now before you judge, we always joke about quitting INCLUDING my manager. I have searched the groupchat and in the last 3 months I have found 17 messages from different people on my team joking about quitting many have responses from my manager joking back with them saying things like “no you can’t quit” “nope if you quit, I’ll lock you in here” etc.. Anyways, a few minutes after I made the joke my manager called me as she was working from home that day and I was in the office and she told me how I was disrespectful and being inconsiderate of the team because of my joke. It was disrespectful and inconsiderate coming from me only because I am on FMLA & my shifts have to be covered when I’m not in.

I work in a cubicle and didnt know what to say at the time plus theres so many other ppl who could hear if i did say something. I was really shocked. I have always “joked” with her. I never had a conversation like this. So I just said “I understand” a bunch of times. But she obviously heard the unsteadiness in my voice because she kept saying “are you sure” if you dont want anyone to hear, you can email or chat me.

Am I in the wrong here? Is she? I wish I wouldve said more in the moment. I ended up taking my FMLA day the next day so I havent seen her or spoken to her since this conversation but I think maybe I should follow up tomorrow when I do? Any advice?

My credit is so bad.. I probably have the worst score thats ever been posted on here. It’s crazy to think just 3-4 years ago my score was in the 800s.

I lost 3 jobs back to back due to COVID or the company just going under. I started using my credit card to live because I had no choice and it just spiraled from there.

This card is with my credit union & has a limit of 7-8K. I had a few missed payments on the card and my student loans. I got up to date on the card and the loans but the interest eats everything away on the card.

I had another low limit card with capital one that randomly closed for literally no reason. When I called them they said it wasnt being used normally? I have no idea what they meant by that and they wouldnt tell me.

Im slowly trying to pay off the credit union credit card and the capital one is already paid off but my score has not moved. Im so embarrassed. I desperately need a new car but I dont want to apply for financing because I know how bad it is. I just don’t know what to do at this point.
