I just discovered Red Blooded Woman and I Believe in You couple of days ago and both are so catchy. IBIY has that 2k nostalgia sound and RBW is a bop on its own. It’s the second song from that album i have discovered after Slow which i love too.
Today for example the stock PLAG is doing very good and I wanted to trade it but can’t for some reason.

Anyone also using IBKR Desktop? I’m fairly new to trading and I heard IBKR WST is more complex for someone like me so decided to go with Desktop.

I trade stocks. Is there no way to place stop losses in pre or after hours that will actually execute?
How do you deal with it?
I get in front of okay, good, great entry opportunities but then I freeze and it goes on and on and next thing I know after markets are here and I have been staring at a screen for +12 hours and didn’t take any action during pre market or rth. This keeps happening day after day.
How do you currently or used to deal with this?
I trade stocks. I calculate risk and this usually means I have to enter half, 1/3rd, 1/4th or less of my full position size. This makes me feel like I leave money on the table so I freeze and end up not entering at all. This keeps happening to me full days goes by and I just stare at the screen.
And yeah, I see how my current approach leaves me with far less than had I been entering with half, 1/3rd, 1/4th or less.
Choppy market, random flushes left and right, and it felt like nothing wanted to hold.
Every time I thought I had a decent entry, it either reversed immediately or got sold off out of nowhere.
Felt like there were fake breakouts everywhere and stop losses were getting hunted all day.
Maybe I was just out of sync with the market yesterday, but it definitely felt harder than usual.
How many of you struggled yesterday?
What was your biggest issue? bad entries, chop, overtrading, or just a lack of good setups?
I dislike the free Trading View one as it doesn’t sort % gainers from from most to least in order.
I check frequently the market watch on this sub and it’s pretty good but with it’s also not very fast.
Which market watch places or websites do you swear by? Do you have a paid one? What makes it so good? Which ones would you recommend a lot?
I swear each time I open it it’s some complete ahh posts. “The most underdiscussed indicator” and it’s the freaking Volume Bar. “After 6 years my biggest lesson in trading” and it’s if the chart is trending up then the stock is trending upwards and if the chart is trending down the stock is trending downwards.
Wth are these posts. Mind you those posts have dozens, sometimes hundreds of upvotes. Is the average age of this sub like 14?
