Going back to school, which degree will give me the best ROI?

Hello, I am currently debating going back to school. I am unsure of which path to take.

I originally went to a top art school in the US for my undergrad, which is graphic design.

Now I am looking at a few choices, some are certificates and others are a masters degree. I am hoping to become a creative director down the road, but I don't mind switching to marketing as a back up plan. Honestly, I am willing to do anything to keep myself in the industry.

Here are my options:

Marketing Operations Certificate - Description: "The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment in organizations and businesses (for-profit and nonprofit) as advertising and display specialists, public relations specialists, and marketing, advertising or public relations managers. The program also provides supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations."

Multimedia Arts Certificate - Description: "This program introduces the student to multimedia technology and is valuable to the student who plans to enter this field, as well as the student who is already working in the industry and wishes to update his or her skills. Create special effects, animation, or other visual images using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media for use in products or creations, such as computer games, movies, music videos, and commercials."

Social Strategy and Management BFA - Description: "As a social strategy professional, you're the creative director, content creator, and community manager who orchestrates videos, photography, graphics, and copywriting to launch authentic conversations and accelerate growth. With (school) social strategy and management program, you become adept in all aspects of creating compelling campaigns, from brand storytelling and strategy to analytics and audience engagement."

Design Management MA/MBI - Description: "design management students consider all aspects of an organization's operations as they spark innovation, develop new processes, and deliver solutions. Students will explore research and product development, business strategy, data visualization, financial systems, and marketing at the world's premier university for the study and practice of design thinking."

Strategic Design and Management MA - Description: "Bringing together design thinking, management, and applied social sciences, the graduate program in Strategic Design and Management at (School) responds to the need for businesses and organizations to address complex 21st-century economic, environmental, and social challenges. Methods from studio practice such as ideation, ethnographic research, prototyping, and service design are used to devise approaches to business and social innovation in global contexts. You gain critical design-based skills while developing sophisticated perspectives on organizational management and strategy, financial and environmental sustainability, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership.

Another AI post - what do I do now?

I feel lost.

I am currently employed in house, at a large company. I’m the sole designer, doing mostly marketing design and branding.

I constantly get AI logos, and they want them to be vectorized or closely imitated. My job has lost all creativity and the problem solving factor. I no longer get projects where I can think things through, how things should align and work. I just get slop and told to recreate said slop.

I only have a design degree, so I don’t think there is much pivoting I can do.

I have been looking into being a creative director, but I am unsure if that is a viable path. I am young, and have under 5 years of experience, but I have done a lot of stuff. I have done web, print, brand identity, and marketing design. Still, I am unsure if I can pivot to this. Will AI eventually come for this role as well?

Should I just give up and go back to school for something AI cannot take?

What can I do with a graphic design degree after the rise of AI? Should I abandon the field?

As the title says. I am very worried about the rise of AI and currently looking at some possible back up plans. I am currently employed as a designer but clients are increasingly submitting AI images and wanting them to be vectorized. I feel no enjoyment anymore, since all creativity and problem solving has been lost.

Been living at my place lease-less for months unknowingly, Landlord didn’t notice, what do I do?

[US=FL]

I’ve been living in my apartment without a signed lease for about four months. I originally thought my lease was ending this month because I never received a copy of the previous lease, so I reached out to my landlord to renew it. He sent me a new lease, which I signed, and I now have a copy of it.

Here’s where things got confusing: for the past few months, every time I paid rent online, my account balance would go into the negative. I didn’t understand why, but I assumed the payments were still going through correctly and didn’t think much of it.

This month, after paying rent again, I realized the negative balance actually reflected all the rent payments I’d made over the last several months. The money apparently wasn’t being transferred to my landlord and was just sitting in the account.

I later discovered my original lease had actually expired back in January.

My landlord hasn’t mentioned any issue with rent or the lease this entire time, so I’m wondering if he may not have realized it either. Now I’m worried that if this comes to his attention, he could try to evict me.

I do have proof that I made all of the rent payments. I’m just unsure what the best next step is or whether I should bring it up to him directly.

2023 Ford Bronco Sport at 111,875 miles, is this not worth it?

as the title says, I came across a Bronco that is at 111,875 miles. I really like how the car looks, so I am hoping it'll be okay, but I know Fords have a bad reputation. I am currently mostly looking at Honda's and Toyota's though, just in case.

Positive ovulation test but no period for almost two months? Is this a possible indicator of pregnancy?

Not trying for a baby, but I’m worried I might be pregnant.

I have been having an increased appetite and cravings for food I usually hate. I haven’t had a period in almost two months, and my breasts look bigger than usual. Been also extremely emotional with some light insomnia.

Not sure if these are symptoms of pregnancy or just a late period.

I got scared after my boyfriend made a comment about me possibly being pregnant, so I took the ovulation tests I had on hand since I don’t have access to pregnancy tests right now. I’m going to get some in the morning tho.

Just wanted to ask if this is normal or a possible indicator of pregnancy?

Is this 2023 Bronco Sport Base worth it to get?

Hello! I am car shopping right now and came across this Bronco Sport base. It has 111,875 mi on it and it is listed at $14,299.

I am not a car person, so I am not sure if this is a steal or if the mileage is worrisome.

If it is a good deal, how is your experience driving it? My previous and only car was a Honda Fit, so I am used to more compact cars, but unfortunately not much of them are on the market right now. Is the car overly big?

Thanks in advance!

I am creating a multipage book that will be edited yearly by people that have no experience in any design application other than Canva. I am the sole graphic designer and I know that this will be printed, so I told them that I will be creating this in Indesign.

They are worried about the editablity, and was wondering if I could transfer it to Canva. I have experience with exporting PDFs from Illustrator and bringing it into Canva, which typically works like a charm, but I haven't done this process with Indesign.

Has anyone done this?
