I don’t get why people who can’t read or critically think can work for pop culture places. I get wanting to make clickbate is all screen rant does but asking why the tie ins which mostly took place around the battle of jakku for the force awakens taking place in 5 aby but then ahsoka season 2 not released yet but takes pace in 10 aby. Can they not read or google when the shit happened

Not ahsoka season 2 hasn’t happened yet so we don’t know the scale of the war. Most of the force awakens tie ins took place in 4-5 aby. The reason they don’t talk about the plot of Ahsoka 2 is wait it takes place 4-5 years later in at least 9 aby

Been working on a summary for all the phases. Not perfect but I felt like sharing since some of these don’t have summary’s online might be a good resource for someone. This is phase 3 and goes up till temptations. It doesn’t include defy the storm didn’t write a summary for that yet. Finally getting back into collecting now that my kids a lil older, though now instead of keeping me up all night he can snatch books so … anyways rounding off the tales books and adding some more clone wars(though not the biggest fan of Karen miller) it is interesting to have books with TCW tv show in mind also the clone wars is the messiest time period in legends. Adding one more to the x wing books, bc great series. Ik shame that I only have 4 of the 10. Which brings me to my biggest complaint, why so much different bindings. Canon is started by to do this also and it’s such an eye sore. That being said I’ll gladly take trades to mmp any day. Ik esential legends fixed it by everything being trades but ugh. So much of bantam is in mmp. Having a kid though has also made time for reading hard to come by mostly I listen to audio books at work which is also why physical copies haven’t been as much of a priority. I do enjoy reading when I can. My number one tip for those getting into the hobby, buy from book sales. Used book shops usally have a great deals on legends. For the most part I only pay 5 dollars per book especially since my eyes never have liked reading mmp. HC are just the easiest for me to read. I enjoy legends more than the most but can we please stop pretending it was coherent or even at some points good. Sure legends had plaguies but it also had Jedi prince. Also the massive mia khalifa size hole is a lot tighter than you think. Most of the post return of the Jedi content is being worked on and already has a bunch of comics and 2 trilogies of books plus lost stars. Legends ends with the main 3 about the same age in real life but they basically retire and send the kids off on a side quest to make sure abaloth( one of the worst series in legends imo) is gone for good. Also expecting fans to read a trilogy, duology, a few more trilogy’s and like 3 nine book series to get the plot of a new movie is just eh. I say all this as someone who wants them to make one last trilogy to end legends. So those who wana read the 158 book series get a proper ending and we can shut up about it being peak starwars.

To preface Ik they only announced rebellion content. I also know there is already a starwars ttrpg( well three) from 2015. Do you think enough people will care to get high republic content in ttrpg form. Ik that they are making a bunch of minis for wow just a pipe dream to hope for Marchion Ro minis and long beams and drill ships not to mention Elzar Avar etc. idk it seems like maybe if enough people cared we could see this.

Not my full collection but a decent chunk. Idk the past 2-3 years haven’t been as motivated in starwars as I once was. Honestly putting this up I forgot how much I love this universe and how much I hope I can share this with my kid someday. I also hope one day legends gets a proper ending. Especially since sometimes I feel it’s hard to get new readers into legends since it’s a story that will never be worked on again. Not tryna be one of those continue the eu guys or not my canon. But slow one trilogy post crucible to end it. Maybe just my 2 cents and maybe I’m just the minority.

Also let’s not credit the comic as starwars 2020 issue 20. And let’s definitely say the planet implanting the mind of the person at the time is the same as cloning and that they can easily leave the planet. And say luke never died. Oh wait the copied minds are axtually clearly apart of the planet and cant leave. But it is cool that in a way luke was able to meet Elzar and Azlin.

So no even though it can seem parts are over represented this honestly is a lot less than people like to claim. Also the Jedi can’t love honestly is a temptations of the force plot line the rest of the books make it that the ones who fell in love either break off their relationship or leave the order. Tbh the only reason I think yoda allowed Elzar was yoda was afraid of losing more Jedi. Plus their all star poster boy leaving would’ve been bad for the republic at the time. Which he struggles with throughout the books.

Besides this being set in the high republic time period was there ever rumors of what the story would’ve been about. With the ongoing strike, the fact it’s been 4 years and rumors of mass layoffs is there any hope left?
