Did anybody else lol when she said this?
If this brilliant show does get renewed, I wonder if location will change from
LA to Milan, (with snippets from Sugar’s home planet)?
Will he look for Djen in Milan? I wouldn’t mind, as Milan is as stylish as Los Angeles. Sugars Stingray wouldn’t be out of place on the streets of Milan.
There are a couple of similarities between the two ladies… It was pointed out that they share the same mannerisms and kinda speak the same.
There are the 2 scenes of them looking at the night sky.
I’ve noticed a couple of things…. When Sugar first sees Peg, she’s sat at restaurant table with some guys…. When Sugar first notices Charlotte, she’s sat with a couple of guys in hotel restaurant.
Additionally, Charlotte in that first episode asks Sugar, “Have we met before?”
It does give pause for thought.
Spoiler
This was one of my favourite episodes from season 2.
From the get go, the opening song of episode “The Windmills of your Mind” (Dorothy Ashby version) is so similar to Sugar Theme tune… the rhythm, the bass etc.
The Windmills of your mind is in itself a metaphor. A windmill turns continuously, driven by forces outside itself. The human mind is often set in motion by memories, emotions, and associations that we don’t fully control. This is probably an apt description for Peg’s human experience…
“I’m gonna miss the finger painting”
It seems that in her short stay here, Peg found purpose in the simplicity of life…she found joy in helping children learn and grow.
Peg seemed to have experienced a strong sense of purpose from making a difference in children’s lives, rather than the high stakes world of the financial markets. The financial world is the perfect breeding ground to negate the Sixth Provided Rules of Behaviour ….(which all “visitors” were warned about).
Also, Peg gave a clue about their home planet and star system.
Yep, I really enjoyed this episode
Both (Sugar and Starseeds) never quite feel like they belong; notice details others miss. Detailed oriented.
Retains compassion despite witnessing cruelty and above all chooses kindness in a difficult world.
While Sugar isn’t really written as a “StarSeed”, it’s possibly not too hard to imagine he’s one of the closest fictional portrayals to how many people imagine a StarSeed would behave; however, Sugar is an actual alien rather than a human with a New Age, spiritual belief about extraterrestrial origins.
>!Spoiler. Is when Sugar asks Chuy’s Grandma if there is anything he could do to help. He then takes off his jacket, rolls his sleeves and begins to wash the dishes!< It’s these insightful moments of kindness and his willingness to help folks, combined with the cinematography, great soundtrack, slick suits, nice car etc, that sets this show apart from other TV shows.
The dimensions of pager are :
width 4.5cm
Length 5.5cm
depth of 2cm.
I just want case as a protective means in case I drop it, also lid required for taking it out to charge and switch off etc.
If this is something you could help me out with, then please comment.
