I just took my Square Omni with me to a session on Trackman 4.

I setup my Omni so that the Titleist RCT ball was in the correct spot for Trackman and setup my Omni so that that was in the from part of the ready zone. As I hit shots I checked what Trackman showed for carry and total distance, attack angle, club path, face to target and looked at the ball flight. I compared those metrics to what the Omni was showing. Here's what I found: attack angle was within one 10th of a point, club path was also spot on, face to target was pretty much the same - within 1%. For the most part ball flight matched. I checked for draw bias in the Omni. I didn't see any; in fact on one shot Trackman showed a slight draw and the Omni showed a straight ball.

The one major discrepancy was distance. The Trackman consistently- 100% of the time- showed the ball was carrying farther and total distance was also farther. After seeing an about 15-20 of these I took a quick glance at the numbers and found the Omni was a little more than 10% shorter than the Trackman. I went into the Square software and changed the settings to show +10% on distance. The next swing Trackman showed the ball going 151 yards and the Omni showed 149. I'm planning to go much deeper into the numbers, but that's what I noticed while I was in the hitting bay.

I am going to go deeper into the data and see what I find. I didn't look closely at spin numbers. I did look at ball speed a little and they seemed pretty close.

I have read a number of stories about Square Golf's support. Some got no responses for weeks, some got little or no help. These made me a little uneasy about buying an Omni. I bought one and the very first day I got it I had a problem with the members site. After setting up my account from the directions, I tried to log in. I got this flashing error message. My first attempt was on my iPad. I thought maybe it's the browser or the iPad. so I picked up my MacBook, tried to log in using the Safari browser. Same error code. I tried using Chrome on my MacBook. Same problem. I tried using a Windows pc on Microsoft Edge. Same problem I tried using DuckDuckGo. Same problem. I reached out to Square Golf support and to PlayBetter support since I bought the LM from PlayBetter. PlayBetter responded they have contacted Square Golf and I should also contact Square. This was late afternoon 5pm EDT Wednesday. I logged on Thursday morning at 5:00 am. My problem was fixed.

Then later that day I went to the same site to try to redeem my 1000 welcome credits. I entered the code that was in the Omni package. I hit the send button, the screen refreshed but it showed I had 0 credits. I tried again and I got an error code. I tried several more times and got the same error code. I wasn't in a. rush to get my credits so I wanted another day and checked again. Still no credits. I then contacted Square Support and PlayBetter support again. PlayBetter responded and pointed me to Square Golf support. They also sent me a link to a Square Golf support site: https://squaregolf.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb

I entered my problem redeeming my credit at this site. Today, I checked my accountant Square and the 1000 credits were in my account! Clearly Square Golf took care of my issue again.

I would suggest any user look into that squaregolf.zendesk.com site. There is lots of information available, FAQs and links to more Square Golf information.

So far, I've found Square Golf's support to be really good, better than I expected.
