Unrelated - how do we keep e-b**ers off trails?
Howdy - this is my first gravel bike. I have the sus fork thing. When turning hard, the bike feels WEIRD. Like real weird. Is that combo of 1. fat tires, 2. slack headtube, and 3. fork compressing on a turn?
I feel like I really can't lean much, and that the tires really fight me. I figure this may be gyroscopic resistance, and I can feel it more because the tires are larger than other drop bar bikes i've had.
Hey there,
I'm borderline between sizes. I'm between 5'7 and 5'8, and im not really sure which way to go.
I'm looking at the Grizl. Can anyone give me some advice on sizing, and if I should go with the smaller (xs) over the larger (s)?
Thank you!
Howdy, I'm 5'7-5'8, with a 32" inseam. (172/81). I have slightly short arms, -1 inches to my height. The size M "looks" right in terms of saddle height, of course. However, the reach felt long. I didn't try a shorter stem, but I feel like I could get it to work.
For ref, I felt pretty comfortable in the drops, and I felt comfortable on the handlebars, but I didn't feel comfortable on the hoods. The hoods felt way too far away.
Obviously I can get a shorter stem, I think that would help. Are there "short" bars? Ie, the distance from the mounting point to the hoods?
Thank you
When I ride around with my pup, especially when starting out on a hill, I find it a bit tough to go "straight" when starting from a dead stop.
I ride on roads a lot, so, I want to stay in the bike lane and avoid any kind of collision.
Obviously, the answer is practice more, but would love to hear if there's something obvious I'm missing!
