Located in Campo, CA mountains of San Diego. They look so different but seem to get along in the one nest/web
Found this lot of broken axes and some whole pieces, manos and other items. Does anything stand out? Only one piece is labelled a small axe head labelled Madison co Illinois, I dont know where the rest came from - what purpose did the giant round stone serve?
I cant tell what this is, came in a box of fossils from an estate sale, my brother thinks it may be an arrow shaft straightner. Unfortunately no info on origin but its made of either very dense shale or slate
3rd pic is how I found it, didn't even get to see the bloom :(
I picked up an old timer's arrowhead collection and this one stood out, are they fossils or an orbicular jasper of some kind? Unfortunately no info on origin; photos 3+4 I sprinkled a little water on the stone
Is under $200 a decent price for this rug? It looks vintage but unfortunately the sellers have no info on origin or age; 90"x59"
Zesty snake did a few push ups and a stare down before moving on, curious what kind of rattler it is?
Another wild/native cholla I believe its a coast cholla in bloom; Campo, CA
Never had a deer visit before, its usually just birds, bees, bobcats or coyotes! Our local species are burro mule deer; located in Campo, CA
I think its a buckhorn cholla, the bees absolutely love it
