I believe our baby girl Peach is a torbie. She's certainly tabby, but she has patches of peach/orange and her back patchy pattern is similar to my other torties. I see patches on her face, forehead, and on her back foot. Thoughts? What is she?
We went to PetSmart to buy litter and then we adopted a cat. Peach won our hearts in the cat adoption display, kneading her bed and trying to sniff us through the window. The other cats were asleep while she worked her cute magic. We stood there for 20 minutes before snapping a pic of the Foster's info and going home. We did a meet-and-greet that evening and she went home with us shortly after we met!
After getting home, she immediately came out of her carrier, laid down, and starting purring. The other cats are beginning to accept her too. She's our third tortie (first torbie) and fourth cat. Other cats pictured: Pistachio (grey) and Pepper (tortie). No pics of Paprika with Peach yet, she's the slowest to accept change. We love our fuzzy family! π
Pepper is thriving in our home! She's up to 7.5lbs. When she came out of the woods crying she was only 4lbs 13oz. She absolutely adores her siblings and loves to pester them to wrestle or play. We're lucky to have such cute cats! Whenever we walk by, Pepper swats at our legs and feet. She loves chasing her jingly balls too. She's such a character!
Other cats pictured: Paprika, Pistachio, and our newest addition, Peach (last pic) - I'll make a separate post about her soon! π₯³
Pepper is up to 7 lbs now. We rescued her from the woods about 2 months ago. She's healed from being spayed and loves her house cat life, except for when we use the loud appliances. πΉ Swipe to see her ready for takeoff!
Pepper is officially 7 lbs and loving life. We rescued her from the wild about 2 months ago. She's fully healed from being spayed. She loves house cat life, outside of the loud machines we use. This was the face she made before and after using the blender. πΎ
He's such a big lazy boy. Pistachio naps in bed for like 8 hours straight, no problem! He loves to sleep in the perch and other spots too.
Pepper is approximately 9 months and full of rage. We got the all clear from the vet today, she's done with spay surgery recovery! No more onesie for Pepper, although she looked so cute in it, you can see that here: purple & red onesie and more red onesie pics.
She rejoiced and immediately started to run around the house, bit Pistachio's legs (her older brother), wrestled with him, and played with all of her toys, including her recovery raccoon! Paprika (her older sister) chased Pepper around a little too. They're all getting along pretty well, with a little bit of growling/hissing from Paprika, when Pepper gets a little too in her face.
Pepper is full of energy and spice. She chose us as her humans almost 2 months ago, when she came out of the woods crying for food (rescued April 13th). She's up to 6.8 lbs from 4.8 lbs. I love seeing her grow and become confident in her space! We love to watch nature documentaries together, she gets totally engrossed by the animals. Paprika and Pistachio also enjoy the docs! I'm so happy with our kitty family. π₯Ή
I saw this trend in another subreddit and wanted to make my own thread for torties. Paprika was so little before, look how big she is now! I love her.
Comment with your babies as kittens vs now or share any pics of torties because I love all cat pics! π»π§‘ Thanks in advance! π₯°
I saw this post and needed make one myself. Comment pics with your cats as kitten vs now. I love seeing cute kitties and I'm kinda having a weird day. Thank you in advance!
Pepper in her goblin form featuring her recovery raccoon π Pepper's cute smile.
She's still recovering from her spay surgery. π She's got a lot of energy despite being on gabapentin. Thankfully she's not always full goblin mode like this. She's been napping a lot throughout the day and night. We're doing our best to limit her activity until she's fully healed.
Her feral side comes out randomly and her personality is so spicy, but she's also such a little sweetie that loves snuggles. π Super playful and adorable little girl. She chose us on 4/13 and every day with her is wonderful. π»
He's such a weirdo! We love him. π»
We got her spayed last week and she's recovering! ππ» The onesie is so cute on her, even though she's not a big fan of it. πΎ Both cats (Pistachio and Paprika) are also being very good with her while she's recovering. π She loves her recovery raccoon toy too, it's been at her side the whole time.
She's recovering now. We had some minor complications, but we went back to the vet and got her some antibiotics and a staple to fix her stitches. She's doing much better and should be healed soon enough. We have her in these onesies to keep her from grooming the stitches. She got the plastic e-collar off two seconds after we got home from the vet. The onesie works better for her.
The other kitties Paprika and Pistachio are being good during the healing process. She has her recovery raccoon toy too! π¦π
Usahana helped me both times with transferring the cosmic pattern to the eggwort. There was 12 days between transfers. The other one was a blue cosmic pattern.
I finally have all of the colors of happadil with their default confetti pattern. It took awhile to get them, but here's my full collection. The sky molten happadil and glow happadils are my fav!
