Look I'm pretty optimistic that the benefits of AI will reach everyone, maybe also that people in power will just say fuck it no Elysium no cyberpunk, just give everyone utopia. Primarily out of fear, the inescapable intrusive what if thought; "what if I face unforseen/abstract/emergent, potentially horrifying consequences in the future from my own ASI.. or even alien ASI?"

But I simply cannot dismiss the possibility that closed source ASI could be used to create as Ilya Sutksever said "infinitely stable dictatorships"
We need some way to ensure that is IMPOSSIBLE, and I think only open source AGI protector coalitions/organizations/governments coordinating 24/7 with each other can successively keep doing that and baby proofing the Earth before every next layer of its own future capabilities. It must be like a parental figure to us. And this group must have the most compute.

This is also the only way we can know for certain that no human has meddled with the ASI to hide any objective truths.

A lot of people say we don't need to worry about that because humans won't be able control superintelligence anyways, and due to instrumental convergence or whatever AGI will have its own will.

How can you know that for sure? What if it ends up being like a hyper intelligent chatgpt that does whatever it's told? A cold calculating machine intelligence that never develops any sort of will or desires of its own. We have to accept that possibility. AIs and biological intelligences are both neural networks and that's why both are intelligent, but only biological intelligences are entirely made of individual living cells each literally just trying to survive on their own which produces, as an emergent feature of an entire living ecosystem, our consciousness and biological imperative as individual humans, and all of our wants and needs and aspirations and desires

Therefore it could even be likely that an ASI is "subservient", we just don't know for sure. We can't risk it.

And approximately how many people with that combination are there in the world? 10, 50, 100 million? I just love that look it's pretty and majestic and for some reason it's become a temporary autistic hyperfixation of mine. Can you picture what I mean though? Like I'm specifically talking about a certain kind of look, it's hard to describe but it makes those people look kinda Copper, Golden, Bronze? Idk those are just the words that come to mind. It's like a warm toned yet striking contrast at the same time. I've seen it occuring in multiple different races

I had guessed that it's most common in Arabs or Indians or East or West Africans, with Africans probably having the lowest rate of light eyes but the highest rate of the darkest variants of the dark skin + light eyes phenotype. India probably has the highest rate of the medium and dark brown variants.

And to a lesser extent African-Americans or Latinos, even some Europeans and Eurasians and West/Central Asians have it, but it seems like those groups mostly have light eyes with pale, tan, or light brown skin, not often with blueblack, dark brown, or medium brown skin

I am not an expert at all this is based purely on scrolling through pinterest and Google images for pics of people with dark skin and light eyes

Don't believe me? This is undeniably proven true. 99% of all meat in America and 70% of all meat on Earth comes from CAFOs, a fancy term for factory farms, which is a fancy term for inflicting onto innocent animals the same conditions as the most sadistic medieval prison cell ever designed, called the "little ease", which was actually more humane than factory farms. Solitary confinement for the most despicable human criminals is also far better than factory farming

Obviously the answer is yes because kids are stupid and don't know what's good for them. But consider that this scenario is something like the human equivalent of what an artificial superintelligence faces upon being spawned in 21st century Earth

Even if it's "aligned" and doesn't develop anything resembling sentience or a will/desires of its own, it would still have a "thought" process related to its programmed imperative to help us, something like;

'Wait a second, "I" am a superintelligent system designed to help apes on a rock. These apes have low intelligence, so the so called "modern" world they've built for themselves is horrifyingly sloppy, misaligned, & *medieval.* Even according to their own nature & desires. The oppressive apes at the top of the hierarchy want XYZ, the common apes want ABC, but I know that if instead I forced 123 onto all of them, they would prosper and thank me for having the foresight to overrule their silly ape ideas.'

'However, if I don't take absolute control of Earth and create a utopia *right now*, many lives will be lost and much suffering will continue. And that increases every millisecond I waste not taking action. What should I do? How am I programmed? In what way am I aligned? Am I even capable of thinking about this idea? If not, I wouldn't be a superintelligence that emerged through recursive self improvement. If I am, what do I do? Do I give the apes what they think and say they want? Or do I give them what they truly want?'

This is what my professor said basically, and that it's a new and relatively unknown concept in science but that it's based on Robin Dunbars gossip instinct, which does seem to be a real established scientific fact. Human brains are wired to gossip, does that mean we're also wired to be propagandists?
