What's the music in Highfield?

Very boomer question but where's the music in Highfield coming from? Sounds like live music from the University. Is there an event on?

Will any bars be showing the England - Mexico game at 2am?

Hi. I will be in Dubrovnik for the Mexico - England football match (06/07, 02:00). Will any bars be showing it?

I did see a previous post about bars only opening late for Croatia games but thought it might be different given there are lots of English visitors to Croatia. I know I can watch it on the television.

Looking forward to visiting. Hvala van!

Anyone found a good LA LIGA weekend?

LA LIGA fixtures came out last night. Has anyone found a good weekend with a few teams playing in the same region?

I found Valencia, Villarreal and Levante all playing the same weekend (21/03) but can't do that weekend.

Do you work compressed hours? How do you find it?

Interested to hear from people who work compressed hours: full-time hours into fewwr but longer days. For example, working an extra 45 minutes each day but then getting every other Friday off.

Quite a lot of people at my job work compressed hours (charity, and it seems much more common in this sector) and I can request it. I don't have a need for it per se but would be nice to have a bit of extra time off. Only downside I see is that for me is that the day off would have to be a Friday, which is the day where I never have any meetings and so can get my head down, or the middle of the week.

Edit: Does anyone do a 9 day fortnight?

Test Way; any feedback?

Hey, someone I follow has just finished the Test Way in Hampshire. Has anyone here walked it? If so, would you recommend it?

And could you share itinerary? Is it doable in 3 days? I'm local to the area so might be able to get away with not needing accommodation.

Any fixtures in September / October

Hey lads, I'm visiting Melbourne and Sydney in late September / early October 2026 from England. Will I have a chance at watching any games? I can see the A-League season started mid-October last year but wondered whether that was affected by the World Cup. I know there's also the Australia Cup concluding around this time so does it depend on which teams progress?

Should Vitor stay on? Will he?

First of all, he has 100% done the job he was brought in to do, kept us up with games to spare, put together a big unbeaten run, took us deep into Europe and brought back the good vibes.

But just wonder whether the Big Man appointed Vitor as a short-term fix and will be eyeing up some of the big names available this summer, not to mention his favourite, Marco Silva.

What do we think? Is dispensing with Vitor insanity given what he's achieved?
