The DSi Sound app is fun with short recordings, but only today (17th August) I finally tried listening to music I added through the SD card yesterday! I just chose a few from my laptop, SD card reader, put the card back in the DSi and enjoyed it in rather good audio quality through earphones 🤩🎶

The .mp4 (video) and .m4a files are what work (aac format, any folder). It does pop a bit on 8D audio but otherwise sounded fine. The varying graphics and sound effects are fun too 😁

I've had my Nintendo DSi since I was 7 (late 2009 or 2010) but only ever had 2 games on it, no Wi-Fi, and the camera only recently ran out of internal storage (compared to my phone 😅). On the last picture those were our late pet goldfish almost 10 years ago, and the game is Big Brain Academy. ☺️

Not in context of the film, but features a moment from the first look trailer at D23! It kind of fits that Elsa is holding a Frozen fractal "my soul is spiralling in frozen fractals all around!"💡🧊 And in red and earrings, this is a beautiful look for Elsa ❣️

This was a drawing I did in 2016 (photocopied it to A3 for an art project at school) and added a bit of colour to it in Jan-Apr 2017. Little did I know that Anna would be wearing the pink and minty green, and the purple in Elsa's outfit too! 🔮💟🎨 Looking forward to more about Frozen III tomorrow 🤩

Mush-mush is likely to be the cat in the 2nd picture, at the Ryan house in Artane, pictured with Eithne. The cat in the first picture is Peewee; she is likely to be the mother cat who had several kittens (hence the 12 cats, but in Gweedore, not the castle 😅). I like Enya's consideration for animal welfare too. 💛

Nicholas Dominick Ryan, best known as Enya's producer, Nicky Ryan, was born on this day in 1946; he would've turned 80 today (14th July). 😌 Obviously he happily stated it as the 14th of the 7th 😄 (this interview/podcast from 2015). The music in the background was composed by himself: The Echoes of Time.

I thought I was lucky finding one slot for September, and immediately clicked it, but then got that error message. Should've booked for early November straight after my test (in June; that was booked about 4 months earlier 😅). The earliest ones seem to be in December, but I'd rather take the test without all the Christmastime lighting. It's looking like next year instead, ah well.

The Celts (the 1992 reissue of her debut album, Enya) is perhaps my favourite album to listen to when travelling (on a portable cassette player). 🤗🎶

I'm in Scotland at the moment, and yesterday I both listened through and took these photos of the cassette and its beautiful little booklet. 🥰

The other cassette in the first picture is the Golden Brown single by The Stranglers. 😄

On cassette for The Celts, To Go Beyond (I) is at the end of side 1, and To Go Beyond (II) at side 2/closing the album; a very nice touch. 🎼🌠😊
