Abuse of atomoxetine?

A 48yo client with a history of ADHD and GAD transferred to our clinic. I have been seeing her for about six months. Her Concerta was discontinued and she was then switched to atomoxetine 80mg daily. She states the atomoxetine has been much more helpful for her ADHD.

Over the six months, she has reported her atomoxetine lost about four times (only once an early refill was provided). She has also three times tried to adjust her dose before her monthly refill. She makes an appointment about every two weeks either because of loss medication or to discuss changing her medication dose. I believe she is doing this so she can try to get more atomoxetine before her monthly refill is due .

I can’t find any research to support any abuse or an addiction potential of atomoxetine. However, there is clearly something going on. The last appointment when I told her I will not be prescribing any more atomoxetine until her monthly refills are up and she began crying saying that no one will help her.

Has anyone else experience this type of behavior regarding atomoxetine?

Online vet for medication refills

I have an outdoor cat (he doesn’t want to be inside) who also has hyperthyroidism. I can sometimes catch him to bring him to the vet but most of the time it is not possible. And when I do catch him is absolutely awful for the cat. He’s extremely anxious he throws up. He’s pees is horrendous for him.

I’m looking for an online vet that will just give refills of his medication. My current vet wants him to come in every three months. Also their hours are during when I work so I have to take time off of work to do it and half the time I can’t even catch him.

I have an Airbnb in a summer/winter climate. It does very well in the summer, but I am trying to increase a renters in the winter. The Airbnb is about 25 minutes from a ski destination. The homes around the ski resort do very well in the winter.

The most common suggestion is a hot tub. Before committing to a hot tub I was thinking about first trying an inflatable hot tub. I have a covered patio and I was going to place a hot tub there possibly inside a domed clear tint with some nice lights and other decorations.

If anyone has tried an inflatable hot tub, how did it go?

Any other suggestions for winter time?

We recently paid to get our yard re-graded and I thought this would be a great opportunity for my husband to keep impeccable care of our yard. Especially since he likes to golf. I have learned that he does not care about the look of our yard. After three years of not fertilizing or reseeding any grass seeds some clover, violets and dandelions has started taking over. And I actually like it. He would only mow the yard every 2 to 3 weeks and it always looked terrible. Now that some ground cover like the clovers have some pretty big patches it stays lower to the ground. I also really enjoy the colors.

How could I continue adding more ground cover to this yard. I would like something that does not need maintenance since I have quite an extensive flower garden already. Would I be able just to sprinkle some seeds in the grass after the snow melts hoping it eventually out competes the grass? Should I just slowly remove the grass and sprinkle seeds in the bare spots and over the years hopefully it fills in?

Any plant suggestions for zone 6b?
