US & International stocks. What do you hold and why?

I’m fairly new to investing and trying to learn more about US/international shares from people with more experience.

Curious what individual US or global stocks people here actually hold, and why? How have the results been over the years?

Also trying to understand the real pros and cons for an investor buying US stock... things like growth potential, currency risk, tax, dividends, fees, and whether it’s worth the extra complexity compared to sticking mostly with ASX shares or ETFs.

Not looking for financial advice, just wanting to learn how more experienced investors think about international investing and portfolio balance.

Thanks.

JASEfos Feat. Claire Van Der Boom - Do What U Want (Max Graham Afterhours in Montreal Mix)

Blending that beautiful rolling prog beat of days gone by with the vocal trance sound from one of the two best eras of trance.

I remember playing this at so many after hours comedown sessions and just seeing everyone come down into pure bliss.

What’s your go-to music for the comedown? Interested to see what people play when the pills are still flowing through the bloodstream, you’ve still got a bit of dancing left in you, but that cosy couch is also starting to look pretty good.

Looking for a non-gimmick, kid‑friendly camera (no prints, but with real creative features)

Hi all,

I’m looking for a small, kid‑friendly camera to help introduce my young ones to the magic of photography. Ideally, I want something feature‑rich but not gimmicky... so no tacky overlays like cartoon hats, moustaches, or sticker packs etc. I'm after more simple, creative tools, like interesting colour modes, filters, and effects that actually encourage my kids to experiment with the features.

No thermal‑print camera suggestions please. We’ve had one before and the prints ended up scattered all over the house, which drove me mad, so I’m steering clear of print cameras.

From what I’ve seen so far, the Rewindpix camera really caught my attention. It seems to have a pretty decent balance between being playful and being a “real” camera I suppose. It kind of feels like a proper super-basic introduction to photography rather than just a toy. The retro look and feel, the seemingly simple physical controls, and the creative filter options all exactly what I'm after - I think, but happy to hear suggestions.

The only hesitation I have is that a lot of its more interesting features appear to rely on pairing with a mobile phone from what I can find. The kids won’t have access to a phone, so no point if they can't use the features/play with the settings. That’s the main thing holding me back.

I’d love recommendations for something in the same vibe. A small, durable, kid‑friendly camera with genuinely creative features, no printing, and no need for a phone. Smaller the better, but again, happy to hear any suggestions.

Thanks.

Older trance used to cross over with prog house quite often, so hoping this is okay to post. Admin - please remove if not.

I absolutely love this deep hypnotic prog house trance vibe. Hoping somone can recommend some others like this and massive bonus points if there's *anything* like this from the last 5 years.

I'm after similar sounds, and definitely same vibe.

Hey all,

Trying to track down a compilation cd from around the mid 00s.

It was probably more on the house/proghouse tip from memory but could be wrong. I was high on shrooms.

I *think* it was a mix from Ben Watt but wasn't his usual house sound. It had a Nick Warren track or one of his remixes.

I know that's not very helpful but the thing that may help is that Trentemoller's remix of Djuna Soundsystem - Les Djinns was on it.

Please help :)

The YITH Product Bundles plugin seems good, but I’m interested to hear what other plugins people suggest.

I’ve tried the YITH Dynamic Pricing plugin, but unfortunately it doesn’t allow for bundles, just whole-cart discounts (among other things).
