Accomodation for 1 month

Never been to Ph before. I'm planning to use Manila as a base. Are there expat type residencies that I can rent for one month? For example, a few months ago I rented an apartment in Chiang Mai where mostly expats lived. It cost me $230 for the month that I stayed.

Is there anything similar in Makati or Quezon for example?

As we're playing Man City this weekend, I would like your opinion on City fans calling Man City 'City'?

To me personally it feels a bit off.

Man City are labelled 'City' more often than not in the media fair enough, but to read Man City being called City on our fans forum feels weird.

What are your thoughts on this?

Arts and crafts accessories

Are there any arts and crafts accessories or specialised items that are difficult to find in Vietnam?

I'm visiting a friend who uses acrylics and brushes, and I would like to bring something that they may not normally be able get in Vietnam.

Not only acrylics and brushes, but any ideas would be grateful.

I couldn't have put Tim Sherwood's words more profoundly.

“They should know that they are going to lose games, but they can’t let defeat get them down, get back on the horse and don’t let it fester into the next game.

“Otherwise all of a sudden you haven’t won a game for a month, and that can become a real problem.

I know he was mainly talking about the players, but from an armchair City fan's point of view, Singers Corner and the away support we had were just as integral to us winning the Championship last season. (Seriously, many thanks to you all from the bottom of my heart).

This season is obviously going to be tough and I just hope fans will keep their resolve and continue singing players' songs when we're 2 or 3 down week in week out, only getting the odd win here and there.

I'm not a fan of organised Ultras groups like Palace, Rangers and Celtic etc., I prefer fan support to be more spontaneous and organic. Besides, I see Singers Corner expanding year by year, we don't need an Ultras group.

But what are your thoughts on our fans collectively keeping in mind that we are still a work in progress and should applaud players off or sing their songs whether they've been outplayed by a superior opposition or not?

My Fantasy Football first draft

My first draft of the season.

It may look a bit bias toward City, but I have my reasons:

Bobby, because every Fantasy team needs a reliable 4m player who can come up with the odd goal. I've had Big Dan Burn in the past when he was just 4m.

Victor because he's our free kick specialist. We'll be relying on him a lot, and I'm confident he will deliver.

And BTA simply because he's good enough, plus the fact that he's only 5m.

Advice on my squad, welcome.

Petar Stanić

According to Sportal.gr we've made a bid for for Petar Stanić from Ludogrets. I hope this one's more than just another rumour as he looks pretty handy.

Attacking midfielder, was joint top scorer (7) in last season's Europa League. Not a bad tally, considering Ludogrets didn't even make it as far as the knockout phase.

My elderly neighbour booked a flight on April 30th and hasn't received confirmation.

He's an American citizen flying return from Saigon, Vietnam to Bangkok, Thailand 11.30 May 11th . He thinks the flight was through Vietjet outbound and Vietravel for the return.

He has contacted Booking.com and they just replied with an automated messages regarding the hotel booking that he made on the same day and nothing as regards to the flight. I checked his booking.com account and there's nothing about the flight there either.

I'm sure he paid for the flight as he showed me the bank transaction with the amount paid. Unfortunately, that's the only info there.

I think he may have put the wrong email address. He has an old address that he can't access because he's forgotten the password.

No booking number, and nothing showing up on Booking.com

Any suggestions?
