Cat has a bald spot, should I be concerned?

Just recently adopted my amazing cat Neptune from the shelter. I've just noticed a small little oval shaped bald spot on her back within the past few days. She did come from a hoarding situation, and was exposed to ringworm. The vets at the shelter said I should keep an eye out for bald patches of fur. The skin doesn't look irritated, but I'm concerned. Should I take her to the vet or is this normal?

Cat not taking her meds

Just adopted my cat Neptune, everything's going great. She's very friendly, accepting of pats, using the litter box well etc. She does have anxiety, and the vet at the rescue gave us a weeks worth of anxiety meds for her to take to help her adjust. The vet told us to just roll up the pill in a ball of food and give it to her, but she won't eat the pill, just licks around it. I tried looking online and saw people saying you should open their mouth and drop the pill in their throat, but she really hated me grabbing her head like that. I've tried a bunch of different strategies but she just won't take them. Any recommendations on how I can get her to take her pills?

My new cat doesn't like the wet food they were giving her from the shelter

I just brought my beautiful amazing cat Neptune home from the shelter a few days ago. She's very healthy, but the people at the shelter did say she was having low appetite (shelter anorexia) but it seems like she just didn't like the food she was giving them. Her eating schedule was dry food in the morning, and then half a can of wet food twice a day. She ate all her dry food in the morning, but has been completely ignoring the wet food. I thought she just wasn't hungry and was struggling with the low appetite but when I replaced her wet food with dry food she ate all her dinner happily, so she clearly just doesn't like the wet food they were giving her. I'm planning to just feed her dry food for all her meals, but they did also note not to change her diet super suddenly, and I don't wanna upset her stomach. Is it ok if I just feed her dry food twice a day?

What are some common ways people mistreat their cats that people don't realize?

I'm just adopting my first ever cat in a few days, I'm so excited! However, I have really bad anxiety, and although I feel i've done all the research I'm still worried I'll do something wrong for my cat. Are there any common ways people unintentionally mistreat their pets that I should look out for?

Looking for an aid to help me with standing

I have a lot of pain in my knees and hips and have trouble standing. I'm fine walking but when I'm standing still for a long period of time my knees hyperextend backwards and cause me pain. I'm looking for some kind of foldable mobility aid that might let me sit down in places where I have no place to sit.

I've looked at those walkers with seats but they seem mainly to help you walk and I don't really need that, plus they're very bulky.

I've also checked out those foldable stools but I would like something with back support (I have trouble with stools)

Any recommendations for some kind of portable seat or something? I'm really not sure if there's anything that could help

I'm not diagnosed with anything, but I've recently become more aware of how much underlying chronic pain I have and it's been getting worse lately. My hips, knees and feet constantly hurt, especially when I walk/stand for a long period of time. Now I don't NEED a cane. I won't fall over without one, and I can walk just fine, but I think having one would reduce some of my joint pain. Could just be my insecurity but is it wrong to use a cane if I don't really need it, it would just help me a lil?
