Anyone got notified of a passing DEA polygraph for the Diversion Investigator role recently?

If you did, how many days or weeks after you took your polygraph did you get notified? Were you sent a locations preference sheet afterwards? Thank you!

Would you rather sit in background investigation limbo or be 100% cleared waiting on an open slot?

If you had to choose between these two situations for a federal or agency role, which would you pick? Assuming this is a TS/SCI position with a full-scope polygraph.

Option A: The Unknown Limbo

You are actively in the pipeline (poly, BI, suitability), but you have no idea where you stand, how long adjudication will take, or if a sudden suitability denial is coming down the wire. The upside? If you clear, your seat is guaranteed and ready for you immediately.

Option B: Fully Cleared, Waiting for an Open Slot

You have successfully cleared every single hurdle, full background adjudication, polygraph, and suitability are all 100% passed. You are fully cleared and ready to go, but you are placed on a cleared waitlist/candidate list until a position opens up. Once a slot opens, you're in, but until then, you're at the mercy of budget, attrition, or agency hiring freezes with no fixed start date.

Is it possible to just extend the Depot Warranty?

I don't need the extra services the other two tiers of warranty provide. Is there a way to just extend the depot warranty when you first get a laptop?

Is the warranty cheaper when the device is new?

Should I buy 4 years of extended warranty now, when I first got my Legion Pro 7i, or extend it year by year as it is about to expire? Is it cheaper to buy it all when the laptop is still new? Thank you.

Is this a good price for the extended warranty?

Lenovo's warranty page is confusing so I'm going with B&H's instead. I can then activate this on Lenovo's website. Is this good for a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i?

[H] LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Intel Master Key [W] $35 PayPal

Hey everyone,

I have an unredeemed Intel Master Key for the new LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight from the recent Intel Spring Bundle.

⚠️ CRITICAL REQUIREMENT ⚠️

To claim this game, you MUST have a qualifying Intel Core Ultra processor currently installed in your system (e.g., Core Ultra 5/7/9 Series 2 desktop or laptop CPUs).

The redemption process via softwareoffer.intel.com requires you to run the Intel Hardware Scanning Tool to verify your CPU before it unlocks the game. Please do not buy this if you do not have an eligible Core Ultra chip, as it will not work on older Intel generations or AMD systems.

Details:

Price: $35 via PayPal (Friends & Family preferred, or Goods & Services if you cover the fees).

Redemption Deadline: Must be activated by September 15, 2026.

Process: Intel will also require a quick phone number verification when you make/log into an account on their software portal.

Please leave a comment on this thread before sending a PM if you're interested. Thanks!

Is this a good price for the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 5070ti? Or wait for Black Friday?

Budget: $2,000 USD

Country: USA

Use Case: Competitive First-Person Shooters (specifically Call of Duty, Battlefield, and similar fast-paced FPS titles) along with general mixed use.

Preferred Specs: NVIDIA RTX 4070 / 4080 or RTX 5070, Intel Core Ultra 9 / AMD Ryzen 9, 32GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB+ SSD, 16" 2.5K (1600p) screen with a 240Hz refresh rate.

Notes: My absolute priority is maintaining high, stable frame rates (144+ FPS minimum) at 1440p/2.5K resolution on competitive graphics settings. Looking for a laptop with a great, low-latency display, excellent keyboard response, and strong thermal performance so it doesn't throttle during intense multi-hour gaming sessions.

Is it normal for someone to reach out on the weekends?

Have you ever been contacted during the weekend during your security clearance process, is this normal. Thank you.
