I’ve been taking L-theanine for social anxiety. I also strongly suspect I have ADHD, though I’m not diagnosed. It runs in my family, and the signs seem pretty obvious.

L-theanine makes social situations a little easier for me to handle. I feel calmer, more focused, and less overwhelmed.

The strange part is that my partner can tell whether I’ve taken it that day just by looking at me. She says I seem less vibrant and expressive, stare more blankly, and come across as distant or unaffectionate. Her slightly dramatic description is that I look like a psychopath from a movie.

I don’t feel emotionally flat or numb, though. From my perspective, I’m simply calmer, less animated, and more sharply focused.

Has anyone else experienced this, where L-theanine helps internally but noticeably changes how expressive or emotionally present you seem to others?

I'm planning to use Pi as a sensitive data analyser, but the data must remain on the intranet.

I thought running it inside a VM with a proxy would be the safest option, but I can't install a VM in my current environment.

I do already have Docker available. Is there a good way to sandbox filesystem (like; can we bind data folder read only) and network access with Docker instead? Pi shouldn't access anything else; just specified paths, and some specified local ip addresses.

I recently got rejected after completing a technical task for a Senior Node.js role.

The project involved TypeScript based CRUD API, role management, authorization, and dependency handling. The feedback suggested that some of my architectural choices made dependencies less explicit and affected testability and maintainability.

I cannot share the original task description or repository publicly here as a post, but I can send sanitized parts privately to anyone willing to review them.

I am mainly looking for honest feedback on the architecture, dependency management, code structure, testability, and whether the overall approach meets senior-level expectations.

It says pre-seasoned? The label says wash gently and boil once and you're right ready to go. What do I do? Can I seal an entrecote right away and sautee garlic and peppers?

If so, How much oil do I need to use? Same as stainless steel?
