I processed my NBI renewal para sana sa PRC. I didn't know na delivery na lang pala yung option akala ko pwede lang mag pa appoint then pickup sa local NBI office. so tanong ko:

-ilang days ba yung delivery? province me

-hindi na reflect sa "transactions" yung recent ko na renewal. I paid pa last May 17 [sunday].

-pwede ba ma pickup na lang sa office nila kahit sa online ako nag renew? ang bagal pag delivery..

p.s i hope maka dating sya on time. until May 31 nlng yung process sa PRC kasi 😖

you wake up in the middle of the night to just check if the person replied? i'm talking to someone with a different timezone and sometimes i would wake up for example, at 3:45am and see their message sent at 3:44am. i tried muting but i have that feeling that i get a message from them. like the moment i touch my phone at 9am, i would get an instant reply.

this feels so weird bc sometimes it disrupts my sleep only bc of a reply that i did not even know i would get at that exact time? is this like anxiety talking or there's an energy pulling me to it?

tbh i really dont like it bc sometimes i still want to sleep but it makes me wanna respond. help😫

Problem/Goal: hi, i badly need an advice on how to make this relationship work or maybe give me a headsup lng on what to expect?

Context: i'm talking to someone abroad and nasa oil rig. he works 12hrs/day, 7 days, for 3 months straight and meron din 12hrs time difference between us. They don't have rest days. Uuwi sya for 1-2months then back to another 3 month work naman. Napaka challenging yung communication kasi ayun nga minsan gusto ko yung sunod sunod na pag reply haha. Sometimes it would take him 1-4hrs mag reply, minsan 12-14hrs din. It's the kind of job na wala silang mahabang breaktime kasi their workloads can be pretty hectic and dangerous din yung field nila kasi nasa off-shore. like he said, "one wrong move sa work, world news agad". so need nila mag 100% na focus na work.

I was wondering how this dynamic would work if yung love language ko is quality time and sa kanya is Physical touch? I kinda like the guy na and medyo invested na ako eh. We'll meet for the first time in few months and before i wanna go deeper, ano ba yung ma expect ko dito?

TLDR: struggling with time difference, responding with texts and asking for quality time with an Oil rig worker

Hi. I met someone here on Reddit and we've been talking a lot since March. We're both Filipinos but he's working abroad as a positioning operator in an oil rig and was stationed in a Latin country. There's a 12 hrs difference between us and as what he said, he works 12hrs/day for 7 days, straight for 3 months with 1-2 month of rest. I respect his job a lot, and i know it's not easy being away from family and all. Especially when it comes with a lot of risk. I also don't wanna be someone who disturbs him at work. so often times, i would just wait until he replies.

The thing was, the first 2 weeks of us talking, he would reply in an instant. he said he wasn't that busy with his work at that time so he can respond right away. After that 2-3 weeks, things have changed. Unfortunately, he got busier than before and now replies 2-4hrs and sometimes would take 12hrs to respond. I'm thinking maybe i was being played or love bombed now haha. We haven't vidcalled yet but we've seen each other and exchanged photos of our everyday lives. So we good, i know he's real.

The reason why i asked here is because, i wanna know the nature of his job and maybe learn how to adjust to it since I really like spending time and talking to him. I came from a relationship where replying to messages was never an issue. And now with him, i kinda get anxious with these long pauses. He'll be home in 2 months and we'll see each other soon. but for the meantime.... yeah that's it.

Can you guys tell me what to expect from this relationship if ever this pushes thru? like the pace of replying or the time difference?
