Theranos wad inspired by the upcoming doco on Elizabeth Holmes

I thought her super creepy face would make a good Caco replacement wad, so here we go!

I've only just uploaded it to the idgames archive so, in the meantime, it can be downloaded from my personal site here:

Colesworth paper bags are an absolute rort.

You can't carry three 2L soft drinks in them without them breaking and they have the gall to tell you that the bags (which you have to pay for) are fit for purpose YET I just filled an entire IGA paper bag with used cat litter and it didn't even look like it was gonna break. I reckon the litter was about the weight of five 2L soft drinks. I don't understand how Colesworth continue to get away with their shit bags.

Australia's ARIA Chart is a shadow of its former self

This week, Olivia Dean's Man I Need brings up its 40th non-consecutive week in the Top 2 of the ARIA Top 100 Singles chart. The next best is Tones and I's Dance Monkey, which achieved 27 weeks (24 of those at #1). So many ridiculous chart records have been smashed in recent years due low numbers of debuts of actual singles (I reckon it's currently about a third of what would normally chart) and songs that take years to slowly leave the chart. The current Top 6 has been the same six songs of the past month with minimal movement.

ARIA recently changed their rules to remove most of the older charting songs, which is an improvement, but the only time there's any action is when there's an album bomb and half a dozen to a dozen and a half album tracks suddenly flood the singles chart. So it's feast or famine, but where the feast is fake.

We all know the problem is streaming and that it's not a problem isolated to Australia.

Why is Domino's Australia still in business?

  1. Their standard "large" pizza is now 10 inches, which is a 'small' pizza elsewhere.
  2. They are skimpy with the toppings - sometimes it seems like there's more sauce that toppings.
  3. The toppings themselves are of a lower quality than before and have little flavour.
  4. Their prices are high, even their coupons are no longer good value - you need to pay extra just to get their popular pizzas, such as the Supreme or Meatlovers.

Edit: Just to clarify, I used to be a regular customer for about 25 years until fairly recently.

Late Night Surcharge

What's with that BS? Are they seriously saying that we need to pay extra because they have gotten so unpopular these days that the delivery drivers go home earlier in the night. Therefore they need a surcharge to make their efforts to return to the store later to do a delivery worth it?

How did Dominos get so bad in Australia?

They went from...

good value and decent pizzas -->
expensive but decent -->
expensive and small but decent -->
expensive, small and almost inedible.

All in the space of about 6 years.
