Question about Primer

Hey guys, so I had a quick question when it comes to priming something prior to painting it. I had tried to look online but can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for to answer my question.

Basically I was prepping a video game controller to paint, had gotten it cleaned, primed, and I noticed something on the surface (maybe a spec of dust, or something similar?) instinctively without thinking, i went to scrape it off with my nail, very gently and cautiously. When nothing came off I again without thinking tapped the spot with the tip of my finger and the spec was gone. Unfortunately I'm sure anyone reading this may know what happened. So what exactly would be the solution to fixing this blemish in the primer? Do I wait an hour or so for it to dry, sand it lightly with some high grit sandpaper and re-prime it? Do I just paint it and sand it after a coat of paint is on?

I'm pretty new to painting, other than walls now and then in my home lol

Package Scanned as Delivered, but not delivered. (2nd week in a row)

So last week I had an issue with a package, had made a post about it here.

Yesterday again I had a package scanned as delivered, but it was never in my mailbox, or at the house. We have a communal mailbox in my private community, with package lockboxes. Anything that doesn't fit is generally delivered to the home.

There were 3 total packages coming from Amazon, two were left in one of the larger package boxes, the 3rd was scanned as delivered but not left in the box. The item itself is small enough that it should fit in the box along with the other two items (But I realize Amazon can be ridiculous and put small items in large boxes sometimes). Last week when I had the missing package that was scanned delivered it turned out the route carrier had scanned it and left it on the table in the mail room for the Saturday carrier to deliver (it was small enough to go into my mailbox) but the Saturday carrier left it for the route carrier on Monday.

This time around I went to the mailbox today when the carrier was there and asked about it. They didn't seem interested at all and told me to just call the post office. Which I learned after last week that nothing would be done until Monday as they allow for the full day for the package to be delivered (even though we know it wouldn't be).

So the kicker is, when I had checked for my package and nothing was there, I did take a picture inside the mailroom from my mailbox, and packages were sitting on the table in there (No labels or anything personal is visible). I won't post the photo even though no mail or addresses or anything is shown, just in case there's some sort of internet detective that can zoom and enhance lol. After I had gotten the mail today with a new Amazon package that was due today, I realized the package is still not delivered, I checked with a photo again, and of course there were still packages sitting inside, undelivered.

So the question is, at what level of complaining does this sort of thing stop? How exactly do you raise enough hell in a complaint without someone power tripping and trying to flex their power on you telling them to do their job properly? I'm not trying to be on some sort of postal service blacklist, but this is also seriously unacceptable. I'm sure they're doing it to cut paying the carrier overtime, and the other carrier not delivering the sitting packages probably comes down to the "not my problem" mentality.

Anything else like Yakuza/Judgement?

It took me awhile to finally dive into both, but when I did I got through everything in both series and they're probably some of the games I've enjoyed most out of everything I've played since starting gaming on the original NES.

Are there others like them that I may also be missing out on? The seriousness, mixed with just the right amount of comedy, and fun little side games and things as well, plus a really well written story that actually gives you your monies worth and then some in terms of playtime?

USPS policy to scan packages as delivered without delivering?

So I had a package scanned as delivered yesterday (when it was due to arrive) and when I checked the mailbox nothing was there, nothing anywhere at the house either. I had called in to question the steps of what I should do and the person explained that the wait is 24 hours, and to call in tomorrow if it still hasn't been delivered. They also suggested leaving a note in the mailbox stating the package was missing along with the tracking number. So I wrote it out and stuck it in the mailbox. Today I went to get the mail, no package, and the note was simply pushed into the box along with today's mail as if completely ignored.

So I call in again, the person tells me that I'll have to call in on Monday as the system will not allow them to open a report/investigation since it allows for the full day to be delivered. Even though it's been over 24 hours from the time the package was originally scanned as delivered. I asked if it's normal for packages to be scanned as delivered and not delivered, and she told me that they're told to still scan a package as delivered even if the carrier is returning to the post office with it. (Why would they be returning with it to begin with?) I told the person on the phone that was absolutely stupid and she had told me that they all agree..

So now on Monday when I call to report the missing package (and have to wait at least a month for a reimbursement check to even arrive) I'm also going to question about filing a mail theft report. Because if a package is scanned as delivered and it isn't in my box or at my house and taken anywhere else other than those places, I'm going to view it as theft until that stupid policy changes.

Are supports not needed for this?

So I was making an attempt at my own CD holder (it's a work in progress and there's more to be done to it.) But part way through I saved the file and loaded it into Bambu Studio to check it out, and I noticed something about it. Whether supports are enabled or not, none of them show up on the print after slicing. Will they simply not be needed if that's the case? I'm not sure if I've ever seen a design like this not need supports for the top portion or maybe I'm just mistaken?

Swapping from 9070xt to 5070. Did I make the wrong choice?

So let me start off by saying, through some convincing, I managed to get a large online retailer to accept a return on my 3080 that was giving me issues. That was about $810 refunded that I put towards the xfx mercury 9070xt. Since getting that card I've had driver crash and timeout one after another whenever I would try to play a new game. It's apparently an ongoing thing for years people have experienced.

Recently when Black Flag Resynced released I booted it up and on the opening brightness adjustment screen the GPU drivers crashed 4 times before I even started playing the game. Having dealt with this for months and trying every solution I could find others listing. I kind of give up on dealing with it and convinced this big online retailer to again accept a return. Having already received a partial refund of $180 on the 9070xt when I had gotten it because of the 'issues' I'll be getting $720 refunded to me.

The cost of the 5070 came out to about $855 total after taxes. A 5070ti is around $1080 after taxes, and just out of my budget at about $230 more than the 5070.

The question really is with those price factors, did I make the wrong choice. Or am I right to just go for the lesser card when already taking a downgrade? I could theoretically make getting the 5070ti work, it would just be stretching some things here and there. It would also lead to down time with returning the 5070 and waiting for the refund to be able to order the 5070ti.

My reasoning is even with a downgrade I won't have to deal with the horrible driver issues I've been facing that are apparently an ongoing thing.

Quick Release Joystick?

So I'll start by saying that I'm looking to buy my first arcade stick. Been researching for a bit, and I think I've decided on the Hori Alpha.

What I was curious about is if there is a quick release joystick I could purchase and swap? Similar to the quick release that the Vitrix Pro FS has. Mostly looking for this as an option for transport and storage.

Any input and links would be greatly appreciated.
