Anyone like mixing their oats with farro?

Probably can't tell because I mixed it in but this is custard oats with flaxseed meal and Italian farro. It gives it a nice nutty flavor and a little bit of a chewy bite but it's not too chewy. It's a pretty good grain paired with oats! It takes a little longer to make than rolled oats but it's still fairly easy to make.

Can someone explain to me why people say this about Timothys story?

I noticed that when the allegations first came out and the events following after ..a lot of people who were upset were saying "Timothy keeps changing her story!" Why were people saying this?

In my recollection of the events and my recent revisit of this situation, I don't see where Timothy is changing her story. The only example I can think of is the one that was cleared up by this tiktoker in this video: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTBdhPFL6. But overall, i struggled to understand where everyone was getting this "changing the story" idea from, aside from getting the date wrong, which is honestly irrelevant because Melanie said "she never said no to what we chose to do together" which confirms the event in question happened.

I was recently watching this video https://youtu.be/kEheThVjdHU?si=8u-rp8j89dmvxoHn where Timothy was answering questions on live video and all the comments were full of people on Melanie's side saying "she keeps changing her story." So where does this idea of her changing her story come from? If anything, Melanie is the one who changed her story from "she never said no to what we chose to do together" to "thank you for revealing her false statements."

carrot cake custard oatmeal made with what I had on hand

Carrots cut up really small (4 medium/smallish sized carrots).

1/2 cup Rolled oats.

1 tablespoon Ground flaxmeal.

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 cup water

Pinch of salt

1 whisked egg in a bowl

Cinnamon.

Sweetener of your choice.

Handful of chopped up almonds.

Throw the oats and flax meal and carrots into boiling almond milk and water and pinch of salt. Turn down to medium low and add cinnamon and sweetener of your choice, stirring occassionally. When oats are almost done, turn heat to low and stir in the whisked egg for about a minute. Turn heat off and let sit covered for 5 minutes. add in a splash of almond milk and stir well. Pour in bowl. Top with chopped almonds (and raisins if you have some, unlike me).

I realize this isn't quite close to the traditional carrot cake recipe, but it turned out pretty tasty. For reasons I'm not going to explain, I don't currently have a grater, but still really wanted to make this. Chopping the carrots up really small did the job and the they cooked well. It still reminds me of a carrot cake. This is good. Try it.

"cheesy" beans and oats with chao vegan cheese, nutritional yeast, and Sriracha mayo

Might not look the most asthetically pleasing, but it's damn good!

Banana apple custard oats recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup old fashioned oats

1 tablespoon ground flaxmeal

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup almond milk or milk of your choice

Pinch of salt

1 banana

Unsweetened Applesauce (I used one of the single serve cups)

1 egg

Cinnamon

Mash up the banana in a bowl with a fork, set aside. Cook the oats and flax meal in the water and milk and pinch of salt. Add cinnamon. Cook this on medium low, for about 3 minutes or when most of the liquid is cooked out. Crack your egg into the oats and whisk vigorously for 1 minute. Turn off the heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.

Mix the cooked oats in with the mashed up banana. Add the single serve cup of applesauce and stir. Add more milk or cinnamon if you desire. Serve with nuts or your preferred toppings.

Finally gave custard oats a try...it's so good all it needed was some cinnamon and stevia

Everyone has been talking about custard oats in here and I decided to try it. It's better than I expected. The creaminess is so delightful and it didn't even need much dressing up for me to enjoy. I used old fashioned oats, ground flax meal, water, and an egg. Next time I'll use almond milk instead of water. So good.

I have a new-found love for savory oats, but I will not neglect my sweet oats

u/uh2508 — 17 days ago

I just made another savory concoction of oats with lentils cooked with a chicken bullion cube topped with an egg. It's pretty good. What I did was cook the lentils separate how I normally would, added the bullion. Used the water from the cooked lentils to cook the oats in another pot, then mixed them both together for the final product.

I've heard of recipes where both ingredients are cooked in the same pot and there's some variations to this. Anyone have recipes to share?

I love it! It's so freaking good. I can't believe what I've been missing out on. If you're on the fence about trying savory oats, just try it once to see if you like it! Trust me.

Recipe:

1/2 cup old fashioned oats 1 cup water Oregano Garlic powder Salt 2 eggs Cut up lunch meat of your choice

Cook oats according to directions. Season with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and any other seasonings you want. Meanwhile, scramble up one egg and mix it into the oats as they're cooking. Fry the other egg and set aside. Fry up the lunch meat until hot. Pour oats into a bowl, top with fried egg and meat. Enjoy!
