What is the pun here?

I am reading a book called The Thursday Murder Club, in which the last line of this extract says that Cut to the chase is a pun, which I couldn’t understand. Here is the extract :

“I first found out that the famous trade union leader Ron Ritchie lived in the village when he and Penny’s husband, John, nursed an injured fox back to health and called it Scargill, named for the 1980s miners’ union leader. The story had been featured in the village newsletter when I first arrived. Given that John had been a vet and Ron was, well, Ron, I suspected that John had done the nursing while Ron had simply been on naming duties.
The newsletter, by the way, is called Cut to the Chase, which is a pun.”

Movies like Knives out but not like Anatomy of a fall.

I want mystery movies with active detective work going on in them. If not that then it should not be like Anatomy of a fall with no plot twist in it. Doesn't matter if the detective work is done behind the scenes and the findings are discussed in court or by the detectives themselves.
Memories of Murder is a good example of a movie I will like. Please just give the title and no other information about the movie, I like to go in blind.

I don't mind if the detective work is done by a detective or not, neither do I mind if the movie contains crime or not.

Suggest me some extremely racist movies

I’m looking for movies that are genuinely disturbing, emotionally exhausting, and psychologically devastating. Not just “dark” for the sake of being edgy, but films that leave you sitting in silence after the credits wondering what the hell you just watched.

I want movies with themes of , extreme racism, hatred, violence, societal collapse, moral decay, obsession, manipulation, or just pure human ugliness. The kind of films that make you uncomfortable because they are too extreme. Movies that completely destroy your mood for the rest of the day and stay in your head for weeks.

I’m not looking for cheap gore unless the movie actually has substance behind it, characters should believe in what they are doing. I want something intense, oppressive, and emotionally crushing. The more bleak, hopeless, the better.
