Is there a place in Nanaimo or in the region which rents out bear canisters?
We are planning to do a sea kayak tour and are thinking about a suitable solution for foodstuff.

Many years ago I had high quality, transparent, small dry bags with velcro-closure, made to store flour and other foodstuff. I think they were made by Ortlieb? (no single use zipper bags)

Is there anything like this available nowadays?

Today again: We had a hot day - about 28 degC, the Model Y parked, locked since more than 24 hours. No sentry mode, no overheat protection, no charging. 41 degC cabin temperature according to the app. But still there is something humming under the hood, like a fan, cooling system or something like that. What is it doing? Is this some kind of battery cooling? How much energy does it consume? When is it being activated?

We will need a car with roof rack for about 10 days in July ( for transporting two double sea kayaks). I am struggling to find a company offering this. Alternatively we would also rent car and roof rack separately - but where in Nanaimo?

Warum wird diese Energie nicht generell in allen Statistiken zur Menge erzeugter, erneuerbarer Energie hinzugerechnet? (Oder ist das schon der Fall und ich habe etwas übersehen?)

We have an InkPad 4 since a couple of months and I wonder if it is really normal that this thing is so slow. I have read 4-5 books on it and I must say I only use it because sometimes only the digital version is available in the library. Actually, yes, I just want to read. But if there is anything to do around it, like getting a new book or changing settings you really need to be very carful because as anything is anyways so slow, any wrong selection is causing trouble because correcting this takes again much more time than it should.

Also sometimes - I don't know yet why, the InkPad is suddenly on the wrong side of page in the book (e.g. 10 pages further) and I need to find and go back to my page. This again is so slow.

Is this all may be about a faulty device or is this all correct and PocketBooks are just very slow?
