Evolution of the Holy Milishial Empire basic infantry kit during the New World War. (Made in innawoods)

1st image: the HME basic infantry kit during the start of the war consisted of black webbing and a blue uniform with colorful stripes to show the wearer branch.

Light blue for the army (as seen in the image), white for the navy, green for the air force, gold for the royal guard and black for the military police.

The rank of the wearer could be seen on the shoulder tabs, collar of the uniform/vest and both sides of the helmet being in the same color as the wearer branch (not visible due to the soldier in the image being private).

The steel helmet had multiple protection runes on his surface (not visible due to being under the helmet cover) with a small mana crystal being placed on the helmet's coat of arms to power them.

The same thing with the vest which was made of steel plates with a mana crystal placed on the back of the collar to power them.

These runes offered as much protection as modern body armor.

The uniform wasn't just a work piece but also a symbol of status not only in the HME but also in the rest of the New World, being instantly recognizable as the uniform of (at the time believed to be) the World's most powerful military.

However the uniform quickly showed its limitations and design flaws during the first stages of the New World War when its bright colorful stripes and no camouflaged pattern were easy targets to enemies, leading to extremely high casualties among not only common soldiers but also high ranking officers, the HME outdated tatics and training also making their contribution to these casualtie numbers.

So a decision was made to change the uniform, this decision being met with backlash from some military leaders and relief by the soldiers actually fighting in the front lines.

2nd image: the HME basic infantry kit during the middle to late stages of the war consisted of a simple solid green uniform with other items also being solid green, with the original blue uniform being used only for cerimonial roles.

Multiple cost saving measures were made including the complete removal of the runes on the helmet and vest, these being made of ordinary steel.

Multiple soldiers also started to use captured Gra Valkan and japanese commercial and surplus gear although this was clearly against the military dress code leading to high command to prohibit the use of foreign equipment the soldiers on the front lines simply did not care.

3rd image: during the very late stages of the war camouflaged uniforms and equipment started being issued, based on surplus US M81 woodland pieces acquired from Japan (although the Milishials would never admit this instead saying that the pattern was an completely original pattern).

However no changes were made to helmet and vest, with those being outdated and obsolete compared to Japanese, Muan and even Gra Valkan examples developed after the war.

Also no changes were made to the uniform or equipment to try to adapt it to modern warfare.

These decisions led to extremely poor performance against the Ravernals and Annonrials during the Second New World War.

Throughout our history there have been examples of container ships being converted to makeshift carriers, so would it make sense for container ships being converted into wyvern carriers?

Think about it your summoned nation became allies with Qua-Toyne and other nations that operate wyverns they have a defensive deal with you so if you get attacked they come to help you and vice versa.

So to make good use of their wyverns you can just convert a few container ships into makeshift carriers to act as a second wave after your fighter aircraft wipe out the enemy or as cannon fodder to distract the enemy from your assets.
