How is Angcars for short distances?

I gotta take some elderly family members to their routine checkup in a few days. Medyo malapit lang but the rain complicates things. How likely are we to get a ride? Also how much tip is ideal for rainy days?

When would be the best time to buy a Sihoo M57 Pro?

Planning on getting a new office chair and I want the version without the footrest. I always buy on shopee bc im unfamiliar with lazada. Should I wait for an end of month or the 7.7 sale or something? There's already a voucher that brings the price down, was wondering if the big sales bring it down any lower

Are attached leg rests on chairs a gimmick?

Not sure if I wanna get a chair with or without that footrest that you can pull out from under the seat. Read somewhere that it was mostly for when you wanna be more comfy when you recline and i don't think i wanna associate the chair much with prolonged periods of rest anyways. Would be a welcome surprise if they actually served any other purpose tho

Is a 2-year-old Sihoo M57 still a good buy, or should I just get a new M57 Pro?

I’m looking to replace my current desk chair and found a used standard Sihoo M57 that is about two years old. I usually spend 4+ hours daily at my workstation, so comfort and long-term durability are important to me. I'm around 5'8 and 73-75kg.

I’ve already tested both the standard M57 and the M57 Pro in a showroom but I didn't sit on both long enough to have a good opinion about the lumbar. The recline mechanism feels pretty similar on both, and I don't really care about getting a built-in footrest since my desk setup is right next to my bed anyway (feel free to convince me on it anyways though lmao).

For those who have used these chairs long-term, I’d love your input on a couple of things:

  1. How well does the M57 hold up after 2 years of daily use? Does the seat mesh tend to sag significantly, or do the gas lift and recline mechanisms start to slip? Is buying a used one at this age a solid budget move, or is it a risky gamble? (they might have a cat that goes on the chair if that matters)
  2. Is the Pro’s lumbar support worth the extra cash? I’ve read that the standard M57’s cushion lumbar support can get painful during extended sessions, and that the Pro version handles back support much better.

Should I save some cash and grab the used base model, buy a new base model, or just invest in a brand-new M57 Pro? Would appreciate any insights from long-term owners. Suggestions on online stores with good discounts for the new chairs would also be nice. And thank you.

Do y'all know anywhere that needs coins?

Would like to exchange them for bills. Around 2.5k I think. Can do it in parts

I kinda just had a bunch of coins sitting around the house for a couple years and I just got around to counting and putting em in tape. My nearby 7/11 doesn't need the coins though so I'm kinda stumped
