Just found out my pink toe is a male.

I got my pink toe tarantula a couple years ago and was told she was a female. I trusted the people who told me, as they were my coworkers at the pet shop I got her from. I was new to tarantulas back then and never even THOUGHT to question it.

Recently I noticed my girl has been acting weird. She looks disheveled, wanders around aimlessly, and is not eating well. I thought it was something I was doing wrong so I asked people for help…everyone said the same thing- looks to be a mature male. I was in denial but I was looking over her today and saw all the telltale signs of a mature male tarantula after the final molt. I am so upset. I feel like I’m overreacting but I expected 5 more years with her…and she’s actually a he. 💔

My ball python has a respiratory infection

I got medicine for her but it’s only administered every 72 hours. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to help tackle this?

I haven’t had her for about a month she’s acting normal and I wasn’t really keeping an eye on her when I got her back (I got her back a week ago some girl from Nextdoor was taking care of her while I was in New York) and I know she fed her once in the enclosure she called me I saw the mouse had some substrate on it and I usually feed her out of the enclosure because of the substrate and I asked her if that was ok to do and she assured me it was and it was ok if she swallowed some so I kinda just let her and again that was over a week ago and I’m freaking out cause my snake is like rubbing her face on stuff in her enclosure and her throat is weird what is going on??? Her throat is like randomly puffing up What could possibly cause this I’ve never had this issue in my life I’ve had her for four years. Is there substrate in her throat??? She’s active and everything I’m so confused and her eyes look kinda weird??? I don’t even know what to do if this is something the pet sitter caused I don’t know I’m just freaking out I need advice

Somehow four dubia roaches escaped the bag and are in my room somewhere. How can I catch them without attracting other bugs?
