Got this years ago from a friend. Replaced the chain and it was riding great! Front tire popped and I never got around to replacing it.
It’s heavy.. is there an option of wheel set that’s lighter? Another other suggestions to get this in riding shape? Or should I sell it for cheap and move on?
Been weighting up all my paddles with Pickleball Effect’s tungsten tape, which is great, but when I got the metallic version of the Friday Aura Pro it didn’t seem right to stick tape on the shiny sides. Love Pickleball Effect’s stuff, so decided to try out a cap coin and their tuning clamps instead. Also love using the paddle tuning lab to see what I’m working with so check out the stats on picture 4 and let me know what you think!
I’ve owned this bike since 2011 and it’s still in great shape. It’s become my dad bike, used to pull my kid’s bike trailer on roads and light park/hiking type trails. When I’m struggling up a hill I can feel all my energy going into the old heavy fork, so I’d like to replace it with a rigid one. I’ll have a bike shop do the swap, but can anyone recommend some options that are compatible and don’t cost a fortune? TIA!
The shafts are all cheap wood from the scrap pile but none of these heads see gameplay anymore, so they work just fine for the backyard. Mavrik Flight, STX X10, Maverik Frat with home waxed mesh and an AK Savo pocket.
