Help downloading music with spotify links

Sorry in advance if these are silly questions, I'm new to this. I am trying to download music from spotify via double double and lucida, but when I paste the link it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? Are there other sites / ways to download high quality audio (rather than using youtube to mp3 conversion)?
